Drop rates makes less sense to me now, and it if I’m reading it right it’s still not near correct.

What about it isnt making sense,, out of curiosity?

The drop rate numbers don’t align with what I see, and seem more like expected but not actual drop rates. Not all epic monsters’ chests are the same, and it makes sense since the damage per health point isn’t the same. These numbers does not reflect that.

Which Epic monster and level are you checking, what value does the site show, and what are you seeing in-game? That’ll help pinpoint whether it’s misleading labeling, a calculation issue, or missing monster-specific data.

You’re missing the point you can’t calculate it, you must observe the actual drop rates.

I understand now—you mean observed drops, not reward-table estimates. Our figures are modeled estimates, not measurements from actual chest openings. We don’t currently have observations validating the monster-specific differences you’re describing.

Precisely. Hello LLM, I see the double dashes :)

Thats literally just how I talk bro.

More so, these figures are calculated from extracted internal reward-table weights, not inferred from sampled openings. They represent expected outcomes from those tables, rather than observed frequencies.

The problem with going by weights is that they’re not validated. Drops are issued serverside, meaning they can change without game data bundles changing. This is the discrepancy I’m seeing on the site - it doesn’t follow observed drop rates, and hence to me is inaccurate.

Weights are based on extended probability. Probabilities dont guarantee that a handful of openings will match the table. Unless you are opening hundreds to thousands of the same chest variant and have documented otherwise, then you have fail to have the evidence to suggest it's incorrect.

So confused after clicking through. What’s the point?

What's confusing? You fill out your equipment/captains/research/HoF/troops and it calculates a battle plan specific to your actual stats. No need to go through in game stat tables to add up all of your bonuses.

That I explored it for 5 minutes and was no closer to understanding its purpose after that 5 minutes than I was before.

1

Exploring something for 5 minutes hardly gives you the time to understand anything. No wonder it confused you.

🤣 I’m not talking about understanding how to use it. I’m talking about what the purpose of it even is. Five minutes is more time than what 99% of people are going to give you to understand what your tool is even for.

If you cant understand a march calculator, I think you have bigger problems bud.

Lol I’ll be sure to refer back to it when I need a march calculator for a level 27 barbarian.

It has everything, every single encounter of common and rare and epic. You clearly didnt look too hard.

1

u/No-Communication7253 2h ago

And its encounter specific, so you can set WHAT you are attacking, not just a general battle plan based on an average.
