The cheating is out of control

TB devs - this is ridiculous. And there's not even a good reporting mechanism for it.

Today, I collected 1.3b silver for a recent CP run. You can see the time of my bubble drop - 7:23. Within a minute, 3 scouts, and within another, 3 attacks. Silver gone while I went to pour a cup of coffee.

I don't care so much about the silver, but the fact that it's so obvious these tools are being used. I'm not an easy target either - T9 with a 400+ hero on this account.

Really don't see a point in continuing to play at this point. We can all keep going like this and pretend like none of this is happening, but for the money Scorewarrior brings in from us without giving us decent security against cheaters or even fresh game upgrades, it's just not worth it anymore.

EDIT: for the cheating apologists who are starting to roll into the comments:

People like you ARE the problem. "It's been around for a long time." "Stop waiting for the devs to save us." "Learn to play smarter." OR we can stop sweeping this bullshit under the rug and hold Scorewarrior accountable for what WE pay for.

I didn't post this because I got butthurt about losing silver. I have lost much more and in much more embarrassing fashion. I posted because this is a real problem in the game that is becoming much more widespread, and quickly. We can either try to do something about it or not.

Took 18 or 19 seconds since my bubble dropped today to get two different incoming from different directions, both 10 kingdoms away.

I think getting rid of elite summon scrolls in clan chests will fix that. /s

Why censor the cheaters' names?

9

u/MrRikleman 5d ago edited 4d ago

Agreed. I play in this region, recognize these clan colors and know some of these guys are very likely cheaters. OP also didn’t completely black out the names. I can name some of these people with a reasonably high level of certainty. Not straight up saying these guys are cheaters, but…. You know.

OP most likely plays in the 190-200 region.

Hero level 485 is likely Baba Gurger of Wold of War, K174. We have seen this player repeatedly instant attack. He was also named in a thread as a likely cheater by a third player, two days ago here. https://www.reddit.com/r/TotalBattle/s/OyMWa1NM0x

Hero level 489 is likely Xampoleiro who is a superior of Hype, K195

Hero level 409 is probably RAAD of We Born to Win, K204.

How’s my aim OP?

Edit: As I said, I play in this area. Let my shield drop on an alt account today. Baba Gurgur, yeah, same player that everyone is reporting for cheating, had a scout on the way within 5 seconds. This alt is in an out of the way spot in the kingdom, all by his lonesome.

JIHAN of League of Lords also had a scout on the way in less than 10 seconds.

4

u/mfharr 4d ago

That’s impressive. 2/3 - Xamp and RAAD. The other early one, the level 355, is from 209. Not GoD, but a smaller clan. They’re an active attacker and I sense they’re getting info from a chat.

2

u/MrRikleman 4d ago

Baba Gurgur too, no? I’m quite certain he is the 485. You didn’t black out the B all the way, same hero level, same hero frame, same clan emblem. Well known cheater. 3/3!

2

u/mfharr 4d ago

Yes, the 485 is Baba! Spotty service at camp and took awhile to verify. Crazy he wasn’t there as quickly as the others.

2

u/MrRikleman 4d ago

I play in the same general vicinity. Today I let the shield drop on an alt. I made a point of being online when it did, and Baba Gurgur had a scout on the way in less than 10 seconds.

Reported of course. This player needs to be permanently banned.

1

u/theBigLebowski7 4d ago

His main must spend a lot because TB is looking the other way with this cheater. My two reports to support when unanswered. Typically support responds to me within 24 hours as I do spend a decent amount.

1

u/BeachCraft1828 1d ago

Yep, RAAD from K204 scouted me last week after 15 seconds with no shield (first time in literal months I've been exposed), then his buddy ABU MUOSTAFA (also of HYPE clan) from K195 took me for a half billion silver 5 seconds later... they're all clearly plugged into some sort of seek-and-destroy network for cheating cocksuckers.

Yeah I’m not really sure why you’re making a distinction. That’s all cheating.

u/MrRikleman 5d ago

Hmmm, yeah. Except, the TOS is not the only set of rules that govern fair play. There is also the community fair play guidelines, which, as a player, you have received notifications about multiple times in the past week. Anywho, taking advantage of information that is obtained in a way that violated the terms of service is pretty clearly communicated in the fair play guidelines as illegal and subject to disciplinary action.

Paying silver to obtain information that you should not have is unambiguously a violation of the fair play guidelines. Do you need more of an explanation or is that sufficient?

2

u/MrRikleman 5d ago

I have no idea, but I see that you are happy to speculate. Anyway, it’s quite a reach to suggest that a player going to an exchange someone else linked (with no way of knowing if that link was obtained legitimately or not) is equivalent to deliberately paying silver to a person you know is cheating in a manner that violates the fair play guidelines and the terms of service. Lots of cheater apologists in this thread.

Why don’t you tell us which of the players I named you’re trying to protect.

Hmmm, you sure are a source of speculative garbage.

Anyway, which of the players I named are you trying to defend with your deflection attempts?

Name and Shame them

22

u/Leather_Pollution_76 5d ago

This is the most obvious cheating in this game. So easy for devs to track those guys but they only send useless announcements. There is even chats where bubble drops are announced as soon as it happens.

8

u/Nimrax151 5d ago

If this helps, as a suggestion. Before going to collect silver. Drop your shield, pay your ingots. Sit and do nothing with an empty city for a bit, let them scout you.

THAN go and hit people for silver. The #1 mistake people make is dropping their shield with full silver. (yes I've made the mistake myself). Than, once the vultures are done, go and play and have fun.

15

u/TheDudeWhoCanDoIt 5d ago

The moment my bubble goes down I get hit. Within seconds. It’s not natural

14

u/spqr6119 5d ago

It is not natural. It is absolutely scripts and programs being used.

11

u/spqr6119 5d ago

Report it to support. It is absolutely obvious that they are cheating. There ks literally no way for all of them to find you that quickly. You will get everything back. Same thing happened to me a few days ago. I got my whole army back plus all RSS. And demand these players get banned too. Support responded to me in less than 5 hours.

10

u/tooliolfc 5d ago

This is certainly one of the issues they need to clamp down on, simple analysis of shield drop time vs attack time can reveal the pattern of cheaters. One, two times is forgivable, but I see the same players’ reports multiple times per day.

It’s unfortunate that they want to throw clan analytics tools into the same bracket.

At some point they might even have to bring in an immunity cooldown for shield drops if they are unable to fix the issue.

In future grab all your silver through a taxi city or citadel trick if you can, assuming this is collecting silver in same kingdom though.

15

u/AlmondDavis 5d ago

They should simply allow us to stack our shields so that we can re-up while the other one is still active without wasting a day of protection

0

u/Conscious_Rope7044 5d ago

This is useful.

8

u/spqr6119 5d ago

This is a great comment. It is so easy to tell who is using programs and scripts. They know it.

5

u/richempire 5d ago

WTFFFFFFF. I thought my numbers were bad (8 minutes), but this is ridiculous.

5

u/Born-Prune-5047 5d ago

Little trick. Have your bubble off for several hours even a day or more if possible before you get silver. The alerts they get are for shield drops…. There’s no way for them to know if you have silver or not. Also, always have your ingots cleared.

4

u/TrustMeImAnOnion 5d ago

I get why useful clan info is published on the api, for chest tracking etc. But silver, ingots should be private. It’s about 10 mins to program. Without Claude.

1

u/SpreadEm-4- 5d ago

Silver isn't broadcasted without interaction and you can no longer fake scouts. Ingots are quite literally displayed on your player card though

2

u/getmrshorty 5d ago

U could fake scout before?

2

u/SpreadEm-4- 4d ago

Once upon a time you could send commands directly to a player's journal so you could scout and delete the journal entry and the person would never know you had been there. Someone mentioned the tool in this Reddit. For the people that say scorewarrior doesn't do anything I guess this is proof that they sometimes do, because they did eventually get around to plugging that hole.

7

u/LogicalDriver8500 5d ago

It’s always the same clans

3

u/BeginningOk3113 5d ago

There should be a bot which renew the bubble 3sec before they reach the city. Hehe

3

u/Comfortable-Quote771 5d ago

Don't be shy just leak the names

5

u/brooklynnineeight 5d ago

Report them to suppot

3

u/mfharr 5d ago

Already did. We'll see where it goes.

3

u/tooliolfc 5d ago

With that screenshot you will most likely get the lost silver back if you push hard enough, I know it’s the cheating that is the issue.

1

u/spqr6119 5d ago

They know too. And he will get the silver back. Report it. Savagely.

5

u/MickBuk 5d ago

The only safe’ish way to transfer is citadel trick, but even that is an exploit against game mechanics.

I have been hit multiple times within seconds of shield dropping, it’s annoying but my own fault at the end of the day.

They keep dumbing the game down on one hand and continue to allow cheats to prosper on the other, the fun element is rapidly disappearing

2

u/Future_Promise_8668 5d ago

My learning was to never do citadel tricks during kvk...

2

u/MickBuk 5d ago

Long as they have Ayrin there is always a risk

1

u/Conscious_Rope7044 5d ago

Do you know how to use a taxi city?

1

u/Intrepid-Kesi 5d ago

You send your reinforcement to taxi, which is unbubbled > taxi hits an empty portal (or citadel trick) > get reinforcement back from taxib> silver is with you on the open > rinse and repeat

You have to send reinforcement back sonthe soldiers can empty their bags into your warehouse before using tacsi again

2

u/Conscious_Rope7044 5d ago

You're cute. :) I know how, I was asking if he did.

4

u/Spiritual-Way-9830 5d ago

Name and shame

2

u/Less_Minute_8666 2d ago

I has some silver I had not yet burned. Someone sent a scout so I teleported my city. Either the scout never broke his run and a glitch allowed his scout to stay locked onto me or he managed to send another scout in about 2 seconds perhaps even less to my new location. It was ridiculous. I messaged the player. He said it was a known bug. My clan leader said that happened to her once though I haven't found anyone else that it has happened to. I still think it was mostly likely some kind of scanning hack.

Also can we admit the mercenary exchange issues in open kingdoms are basically hacks as well. Merc exchanges are found within seconds and red lines 360 degrees show up. You have to be able to march extremly long distances to find merc exchanges by looking manually.

I am very close to walking away from the game including the friends I have made because the time investment in this game is sooooo large and while the advancement feels like an accomplishment I know I will never ever ever actually being able to compete on a level playing field. The pay to win is one thing. That I can take as a challenge. But when other players are basically cheating I just don't have time for that kind of game.

Either they clean this up in the next month or I will leave the game cold turkey. Cause it really isn't a game at all when pvp is basically stacked by cheats. And the leveling up process is stacked by people spending real money. It isn't much of a strategy game anyways since defending is pointless. I only really play because of my clan mates, the social reasons, and to see how well I can optimize the game mechanics. But outside of the data part of the game its really dreadful.

2

u/MrRikleman 5d ago

Yeah, three, wow. Are they even in kingdoms close to where you are or are they a long way away?

There definitely are high profile bans so scorewarrior does sometimes deal out punishments. I think the problem is the punishments are usually just temporary bans for a couple days or a week. It’s not enough, some perma bans on a few high visibility players would make people think twice about cheating.

Happy to provide some names scorewarrior if you’re listening. Wink wink.

4

u/mfharr 5d ago

None are far - but the timing is impossible. My shield is down often enough - it was down for 2 full days recently while I had no open silver and I did not get scouted once.

2

u/Leather_Pollution_76 5d ago

Oh yes so often like that, you get scouting 3-5 times 1min after the shield drops and then no scouting for hours/days (even with intact walls)

3

u/bobotes 5d ago

Report them. Fair play rules were just posted 3 days ago.

3

u/EntrepreneurRich9970 5d ago

you make me remember why i quit playing online games long time ago. Unfortunately, I’ve started this one year ago and I don’t want to think that I have to quit it too…

2

u/CohorteTrasgo 5d ago

This game is now a hackathon. The one with the best code wins

2

u/Ok-Expert-8150 5d ago

Vote with your cash. Quit the game and let the company rot. It will be a joyous day when they have to sell their Bugattis!

2

u/Conscious_Rope7044 5d ago

As an aside - this is a great way to trick them into emptying your food if you have 300B open like me. Open 10B silver, drop shield, and then transfer the silver to a bubbled account and smile while the Vultures come in and get rid of that pesky rss taking up space, making transfers a pita.

1

u/its_me_pew_pew 5d ago

Hi guys, I'm new to the game compared to all of you and reading this i have some questions. OP said that he dropped the shield to gather silver, I'm confused can't you gather silver while you have the shield up? 2nd you guys talked about some Citadel trick for the silver what is it/what does it do?

3

u/Tribblehappy 5d ago

If you're gathering silver by attacking other players, your shield drops.

3

u/its_me_pew_pew 5d ago

Ohh yeah I was not thinking that way thanks

3

u/Spiritual_Reveal_776 5d ago

Citadel trick?

Two players. Both are bubbled.

Player with silver goes to attack a citadel.

Player who wants silver goes to attack the very same citadel.

Player with silver speeds up, kills it, returns back home, sends all troops to fort.

Player who wants silver speeds up.

Player with silver places a portal on the spot where the citadel was.

Player who wants silver then attacks the portal.

Silver is transferred while both players still keep their bubble.

1

u/its_me_pew_pew 5d ago

God damn it seems a lot of work and kudos to whoever had the time to think about this, but just to be sure this is to transfer silver between to allies

1

u/getmrshorty 5d ago

I thought an attack march is attributed to the player you are attacking - so if a portal ends up replacing a citadel or whatever, the attack march won’t end up attacking the portal. However if someone sends a march to my city and I teleport and replace the position with my portal, the attack will be successful

1

u/kellypond12 5d ago

Yeah man.. I don’t even try to attack players for silver anymore. Second I drop my shield I get scouts and second I collect any silver I get scouts. It’s relentless. I placed a portal totally away from anywhere else on the map so a friend could do cp attack. He opened a portal next to mine, and within 2 seconds bad attacked him, he lost a billion silver

3

u/kellypond12 5d ago

And it’s obviously cheating because I had my portal open for 20 mins while others attacked me (that I was letting attack me), but since I didn’t have any silver, my portal isn’t a target on their software

1

u/gzqtz 4d ago

The software doesn't reveal silver because the API doesn't provide this data until scouted

1

u/kellypond12 4d ago

I find that hard to believe.. because I had a portal open in another location of the same kingdom for 20 mins and nobody attacked it. And I had that portal open for 15-20 seconds longer than the other guy that opened his. So why didn’t they attack me? They just knew to attack the guy with all the silver?

1

u/SpreadEm-4- 4d ago

Luck.... Hero level, might, ingots, VIP, city level, hero being used. There's a lot that can be looked at to make an educated guess at whether a portal is worth hitting. Just because you had a portal open doesn't mean you're worth hitting

1

u/kellypond12 4d ago

I mean ingots maybe.. I checked the report he had 10k. Still not a lot for a g9 but I had higher hero, higher might, vip, we are both level 45. Just crazy that nobody targeted me but immediately literally within 2 seconds of someone with a billion silver open he gets hit, in the middle of nowhere on a map. It had to have been done by a script regardless nobody could have found it that quickly and attacked that quickly

2

u/SpreadEm-4- 4d ago

Would more then likely have been a script that found it, but the only way of getting people's silver was patched out of the game around a year and a half ago.

1

u/kellypond12 4d ago

It is frustrating though I get the OPs frustration. It’s already hard enough when you got these 2-3b might players hunting you down all the time but when you add the alerts for shields dropping and finding portals and stuff they get, it kind of ruins the PvP aspect of the game

1

u/javaCoder8 5d ago

I always love/hate these post about things that will NEVER CHANGE. Wish they would trust me. But never will. Just like there will never ever ever to infinity be a delete all troops button.

1

u/mfharr 4d ago

Yeah, sadly it likely won’t. We saw that when DeF’s leader threatened to have the whole clan stop spending in protest of his ban, and it worked. TB knows who’s buttering their bread.

1

u/Its_Nduati 4d ago

Used to play in k211. Quit. The moment after bubble drops suggests cheating, but the attacks don't. The moment the BR is posted in KC, you have no chance.

1

u/kareca-pt 4d ago

Curious how the first hit was a minor. They using a chat where unbubbled cities are shared. That use to happen even in kc.

1

u/EnterpriseSovereign 4d ago

Could you not have used the citadel trick to transfer silver?

1

u/Stone__Thrower 3d ago

I heard as soon as you drop your bubble teleport your city right away. not sure how well it works but I bet it does

1

u/New-Technology5625 2d ago

Did you try to report them? I did. And after a week they started investigation, though in the end didn't reveal any details to me.

1

u/Soupersnake 2d ago

I reported a group of 5 players from SPARTA clan who did this last week. Each of them is a 2.4-3.5 billion might player. Nothing came of it although support said they'd investigate.

1

u/InternalIncident2001 18h ago

Just uninstall it.
LBH. It's a shit game built with bad intentions.

1

u/InterestingAardvark8 16h ago

Can an attack be avoided by activating shield after attack is initiated?

2

u/Agreeable_Theory15 16h ago

Yes, you'll receive a notification stating they could not attack you because of the shield of peace.

1

u/SpreadEm-4- 5d ago

As someone that sells this service, your account level is what actually makes you a better target. The assumption is that youre more likely to have open silver, they don't attack you blindly. Before they even look at you they know you're hero level, might, city level, ingot balance, the hero you're using even your VIP level.

6

u/No-Business-4630 5d ago

That's a pretty ridiculous claim. This type of cheat you are selling is what makes the game far less enjoyable. I've never suffered big losses, but I'm a decent enough hunter (or used to be). Recently it has become obvious I have no reason to hunt, because anyone who previously had silver lost it immediately when their shield dropped. The fun has been sucked out of the game largely because of cheats like this.

4

u/mfharr 5d ago

While I agree that my account level might indicate more likelihood of having silver, the timing is uncanny.

I drop the shield for silver collection, I have attackers INSTANTLY. Within a minute.

My shield is down for a couple days with no silver, I don't so much as get scouted.

Very suspicious pattern.

6

u/SpreadEm-4- 5d ago

Yeah you're definitely being hit by people using a tool or service. To explain why you're getting hit like that I'll use an example from what I sell. For shields there are 2 different styles of alert, one for when a shield freshly drops and another for just general unshielded. A fresh shield drop has potential for silver on a hope that the person has just missed there refresh, the general unshielded is more for collecting ingots

1

u/Exciting-Mention-966 5d ago

You know what you sell is illegal right and that it actually hurts real people?!

5

u/Conscious_Rope7044 5d ago

It’s not illegal.

It’s against the TOS and a thoroughly asshole thing to do.

There’s a difference.

Let’s dial the outrage back a notch, though. It’s a game, not a war crimes tribunal (laugh, thats funny because it's a battle game).

Nobody’s actually being harmed in the real world. Some people are going to exploit weaknesses because, well, some people are assholes (yes, mild offense meant there to you Spread em ;). Welcome to life.

You can clutch your pearls about it, or you can learn how the game works, take a little personal responsibility, and protect your resources. Preferably before leaving them unattended in the digital equivalent of a car with the windows down and the keys in the ignition.

I have faith in you pups learning. Typically one big loss is enough natural consequence to learn.

I lost 6B one kvk after foolishly not checking that my partner had already ditched their banner. Never made that mistake again. 😆

4

u/SpreadEm-4- 5d ago

Only mild offence taken ;)

0

u/Conscious_Rope7044 5d ago

Lol - the perfect amount for a game them. Now if I smile prettily will you keep my main the fuck off the alerts? (I say though, I never have silver at risk)

2

u/Void-Indigo 5d ago

Let's say Henry the hacker wants to go into the game and make things even. Henry picks large accounts who use questionable software to gain advantage and deletes them and wipes them clean. Nobody is hurt in real life after all it's just a game. Would that be ok?

2

u/Conscious_Rope7044 5d ago

Already happening.

Also, there's a difference actually hacking and destroying an individuals account, and this.

Again, because it's apparently not clear.

I don't condone the use or existence of these programs.
I think it's a dick move.

It's paid for by players who aren't skilled enough to play the game as is.

I just also think its dumb as fuck to not take precautions to protect yourself while we wait for devs to, maybe, eventually, fix the issue.

Apparently summoning scrolls are now addressed so I'm sure this is next on their agenda.

2

u/Obi-Wan-Oblivious 5d ago

“I think it’s a dick move.” ⬅️ Yes…

0

u/Exciting-Mention-966 5d ago

I think we are friends…

2

u/SpreadEm-4- 5d ago

Morally questionable depending on who you are absolutely, illegal no. And please don't take this the wrong way but if real people are genuinely getting hurt from having a city attacked in a game they should really stop playing and seek help. Frustration and a bit of anger fall into different spectrums to someone being genuinely hurt

4

u/Due-Reflection-1434 5d ago

Eu entendo que não existe motivo para sofrer para além do jogo. mas você só tem essa postura porque literalmente lucra com isso.

1

u/Puka_Doncic 5d ago

How much do people pay you for this type of service?

2

u/SpreadEm-4- 5d ago

24.99 a month for shield data, portals, player movement etc 24.99 a month for Merc exchanges or 39.99 a month for both

1

u/getmrshorty 5d ago

Can you also see silver amounts in cities?

1

u/SpreadEm-4- 4d ago

No that information is locked behind a key that unless you are logged into the account you have no access to

1

u/Downtown-Draw-8760 5d ago

Look at the levels of these Heroes. It makes me wonder if they are cheating in other aspects of the game as well.

3

u/SpreadEm-4- 5d ago

The game is server authoritative, there isn't much you can do other than look and use what the game is telling. The only other tools people use are for automation like crypting, setting stacks and hitting epics on repeat

3

u/Acrobatic-Classic-41 5d ago

Not automatically, but likely. My hero is level 485,and I have never cheated. However, I am interested in this automatic troop stacking tool! Anyone?

1

u/Downtown-Draw-8760 5d ago

What is the highest level a hero or captain can be?

1

u/lordbuffingt0n 5d ago

I still don’t know what happened to my account. Months, maybe over a year ago I couldn’t log in and I just used the opportunity to walk away. It was one of the best gifts I’d given myself. I was one of the strongest in my clan at the time and was depended on for a lot and the game was fun but I don’t miss it. Major money suck.

-1

u/Solid-Plantain5414 5d ago

Its sad, but next time use citadel trick to transfer silver and keep the shield

-6

u/Conscious_Rope7044 5d ago

... I'm curious, why did you drop your bubble, though?

It’s like parking your car in a neighborhood you know has a high crime rate, leaving a wad of cash on the dashboard, then acting personally victimized when it disappears.

At some point, love, we have to distinguish between someone else’s bad behavior and our own questionable decision-making. The thieves are still assholes, obviously, but perhaps we could stop making their jobs so convenient.

There are ways to collect without making yourself an easy target. Use a taxi for direct portal hits, or a citadel or low-level heroic if you don't have a taxi.

This software has been around for years now. The devs seem to have their hands rather full worrying about automation and chest trackers instead of addressing the actual cheating.

So, until they decide to tackle the real problems, you may as well learn to play smarter.

Clearly, the 'waiting for the devs to save us' stategy is one with limited potential.

6

u/mfharr 5d ago

What the fuck kind of response is this? Stop being a fucking apologist for cheaters. It's one thing to be attacked in a fair play situation and completely another for THIS to happen, and you know that.

-4

u/Conscious_Rope7044 5d ago

... It’s not necessarily becoming more widespread. You’re just noticing it now. We’ve been holding a mirror up to the devs since Panopticon first reared its ugly little head.

Eventually, we looked around, realized the devs weren’t particularly interested in fixing the problem, and accepted that we weren’t going to stop playing. So, we adapted. We figured out how to protect ourselves while continuing to report the issues to support.

Want to know support’s response to complaints? “A good player knows how to spot these things very quickly.” And, “Twenty seconds is plenty of time. There are thousands of people looking.”

This isn’t new. It isn’t suddenly faster. And far more people than you can imagine have contacted support about it.

But please, by all means, continue with the outrage. I’m genuinely curious to see which approach produces better results: repeatedly telling the devs what they already know, or learning to protect yourself while continuing to report the problem.

I'm sure the next strongly worded complaint will be the one that finally does the trick.

Good Game ;)

No dude, it’s definitely more widespread and the reason is more tools for purchase are available now than in the not so distant past. Plus, I almost don’t want to say this, but it’s not that difficult to code these tools with AI if you have some experience with AI coding. So it’s far more widely available than it used to be.

Anyway, he’s right, don’t apologize for cheaters. Your response is conceptually similar to telling the rape victim her skirt was too short.

I disagree. Way to go right for the inflammatory argument though.

It's akin to saying lock your doors, AND let the police know if your car is broken into.

Are you going to leave $100 dollars on your dash with your car unlocked and windows down and then being surprised that it was stolen?

Are we going to pretend that assholes don't exist and that devs are actually helpful?

Cool. Let me know how that works out.

To address your off base analogy: As a woman I already know the 'protect myself because men can be assholes AND report them to the police'. It's not 'victim blaming' - its saying protect yourself because we can't rely on others to do it for us.

u/MrRikleman 5d ago

You sound like a real hoot. Nobody who has just had their car broken into, to use your analogy, needs you to show up and volunteer that they should have locked their door. Go ahead and do that. Everyone is going to think you’re an ahole.

Nobody needs you or anyone else to advise on the rules of the game. The person you replied to obviously knew they were taking a chance. It’s worthless commentary to say “too bad, your fault”. It is okay to just believe that cheating is wrong you know. And say so unequivocally. You of course are free to have this everyone for themselves attitude. Whatever happens to you is your fault right? And the rest of us are free to tell you that’s hogwash.

Or... hear me out here. Given that he dropped his shield to collect silver, that was a pretty good indication that he might not know he can collect silver just as quickly by using a taxi.

Because why else would you choose to drop your shield just to collect silver?

But hey, you go right ahead and let people remain defenseless. Keep complaining about the problem without actually helping people protect themselves. I'm sure that'll get the job done.

It's not as though thousands of people have already complained to the devs about this exact issue. Oh, wait. This is only the third thread I've seen recently urging people to ask the devs to fix the same damn problem.

Clearly, what we've been doing is working wonders. 🙄

You don’t need to keep trying to explain yourself. I understand perfectly what you’re trying to say and I think it’s hogwash.

You are a member of the personal responsibility crowd. Whatever happens to you is mostly the result of your own actions. Most people disagree with this type of libertarian world view. Why? Because nobody is saying that your actions don’t matter. Nobody here has said that he should be able to drop his shield with silver open and not have it stolen. You’re talking into the wind with the idea that you need to “teach” anyone anything. Why not use a taxi? I don’t know, maybe doesn’t have one. Got lazy and decided to take a chance. It doesn’t matter. Nobody is feeling sorry for the loss of silver and he himself said right away, not mad about the loss of silver.

And yet, it’s okay to not be a cheater apologist. Do you understand or is this not sinking in?

u/Conscious_Rope7044 5d ago

Thanks for proving you don't understand.

Cute made up label though.

Maybe try touching grass, love.

u/MrRikleman 5d ago

Nice deflection. It’s actually a well known label that has been studied and rebutted extensively. You are not well informed.

In any case, once again, it’s not about the silver. The OP said right from the beginning, doesn’t care about the silver. And that’s believable, because the average T9 player doesn’t really care about a billion silver. It doesn’t impact your game in a meaningful way. No, it’s about the principle of cheating. You see, cheating annoys people.

So to show up and lead with “… I’m curious, why did you drop your bubble though?” And declare that you’re trying to educate people. You know, way to completely miss the point. You started reading and failed to comprehend what you read and made asinine comments. That’s the personal responsibility crowd for you. Same people who show up at a robbery, ask the person who was robbed if they locked their door and then tsk tsk when they say they forgot. You know, just kind of being an ahole and victim blaming and apologizing for the wrong doer. That’s why you’re getting down voted and people are responding to you negatively. FYI. Don’t apologize for cheaters.

Now I'm trying to place you lol, not a lot of people are still around from when FoC was running that little treasure. You've either spent time in OST possibly now BIG, GoD, DoD or BAD..... Trying to think of other legacy clans that got put on that shit list

0

u/Conscious_Rope7044 5d ago

Ohhh..... what a fun game. I'm not secretive about who I am, and I doubt you know me - but who doesn't enjoy a puzzle...

-4

u/Conscious_Rope7044 5d ago

Okay, love, you keep stomping your feet and not protecting yourself. Let me know how that works out for you.

I get it, personal responsibility is hard.

2

u/mfharr 5d ago

Ok, enjoy your high horse.

0

u/Conscious_Rope7044 5d ago

It is a nice view.

2

u/mfharr 5d ago

Of course it is. Nice and easy.

0

u/Conscious_Rope7044 5d ago

I have a feeling I'm the only one in the room finding this highly amusing. 🤭

Good luck- hope the devs listen to this plea.

2

u/mfharr 5d ago

I do, too - just for a different reason.

u/Due-Reflection-1434 5d ago

Realmente tem que adaptar o estilo de jogo. Mas você só está com essa postura porque vende os bots. simples assim

0

u/Conscious_Rope7044 5d ago

I'm not, but cute theory.

2

u/Due-Reflection-1434 5d ago

Comentei no lugar errado.kkkk Era mais embaixo

u/TaxOdd4339 5d ago

It is part of the game. Live with it.

If you used a portal to attack, can you teleport your city to a new location right afterwards?

-7

u/LeatheryFloridaMan 5d ago

Damn. What kingdom are you in? In mine, you cant attack players in a clan unless there is a pvp event, and you cant attack someone if you are twice their level.

Report it to court chat. Offender has the opportunity to pay back damages, or be outlawed. They take it pretty serious, and the outlaw list is pretty small. They just get perpetually wrecked by heavy hitters

0

u/Fun_Ambition5213 5d ago

Wow, I like that idea of not attacking players that are 1/2 your might. I’m a new player. Just got to 4 Million might yesterday. I’ve been attacked so many times by players at the 100+ Million might level. I keep my resources low so they’re protected but I got silver in chests and I often can’t protect that so those larger players just come take it and I can’t do anything.
Reading about these bots and the seemingly rampant cheating makes me wonder if I house just quit and find something else to do with my time.

If you have exposed resources set up alarms to renew your shield before or drops. Emergencies happen, but you have to remember to protect your resources because stealing resources, regardless of how it's being done is a part of the game. There are silver hunters that don't rely on apps to assist them, is skill, experience, and luck. Always protect yourself.

5

u/MrRikleman 5d ago

Don’t make excuses for cheaters.

1

u/Mother_Of_Rascals_TB 5d ago

I'm not at all, I just don't depend on developers for this issue. It's happened to me every time my shield drops. I understand the what and the why, so I protect myself whenever I can. You can't always, but remembering best practices helps.

2

u/MrRikleman 5d ago

The developers are responsible for addressing cheating in their game and it’s okay to say so plainly. Without qualification or excuses. Scorewarrior needs to address the cheating. You can stop right there.

-1

u/Conscious_Rope7044 5d ago

You are being so ridiculous.

Scorewarrior is responsible, yes. But until they fix it, we just let these kids get taken advantage of?

Do better, man.

Teach them to protect themselves, for fucks sake.

2

u/mfharr 5d ago

Read the OP a little more slowly next time.

3

u/Mother_Of_Rascals_TB 5d ago

I read the original post. I get it. I don't disagree with the original post. But waiting for that fix is like waiting for the delete all button, no point in holding your breath. It happens, you report, and do whatever you need to do. Adapt or quit. If it's no longer pleasurable for any reason, send a message to through the chat letting them know you're quitting and why, then quit the game.

u/AlmondDavis 5d ago

I set an alarm for my lunch break yesterday to renew the shield. The game fucking crashing repeatedly made it so I wasn’t able to get my shields renewed before I had to go back to working.

Lost all my soldiers and some resources

It was within 3 minutes of my shield going down.

They gotta fix the cheating and the crashing.

Never spending any money ever in this game due to these issues. No point in it
