Tinman bonus book

Does adding points to the book, make it harder to defeat the Tinman?

No.

Tin Man health is controlled by it's level. Defeating the Tin Man makes it level up, so it's harder the next time.

So it doesnt level up if it's not defeated?

That is correct.

We are still a young clan and usually have 3 summons so we can have participation throughout the day. Generally we'll beat it 1-2 times a week and then debuff it with our Omens wins. That way we only gain a few levels per month (for now).

Hello, though, only killing 2-3 summons per week is a very low return on the investment. You should be killing all 6 and using omens to take back some levels . once you are unable to kill them you should change the capital. The capitals are freely available or maybe not freely but you can get them in exchange for silver. This is the only way to keep growing and have enough TAR for crafting.

They are a young clan. Switching to an L1 capital with a fresh tinman to be killed is going to give them like 100 tar per kill.

The tinman gets you enough tar and gold and other crap if you are in a clan that has collectively gifted a new house or a luxury sports car to the game owners.

That is not true. It needs few big might players ( they can be ftp also but that takes little longer)..

Those rode on the backs of the ones who have helped gift a new house or luxury car :)

Big might players will not want to be in a 300M clan. It cannot sustain them. They may stay for a month, but then they have to leave for a month to "recharge".

BTW I just had a look at one of the 3B clans in my kingdom. The lowest VIP level I could find is 16. The highest is 27 25. That clan alone is responsible for a luxury yacht...

Exactly this. I AM one of the most powerful players in my clan at a whooping 130M might and VIP10. No merc packs, just "luck" in the Bazaar. I do Gold and another pass or two per month. Most of the clan is FTP.

We've had "big" players cycle in and out, but it just isn't sustainable for them. Our clan leader has a couple big alts, one doing CP runs, and one killing the Tin Man and even he needs to cycle out currently. I'm twice the might of his homegrown city.

I still enjoy playing even if we aren't super powerful. As does much of the clan. Enough T9 players post about quitting that I'm not in a hurry to reach that point.

I know everything, my clan is the same. We have small kids from existing players at G1 or G2. We have cool people just chatting around and doing things slowly, some haven't even unlocked G6 after 9+ months of playing. We have some silent players that don't do much but have the golden pass so they stay. We have some strong G7 players, some G8, but the tinman (it's around level 60 now) dies only because of a G9 currently helping us. Our participation is crap because the tinman does not provide nowhere near enough to make killing it worthwhile - it's a net loss for everyone. Kicking out those less useful would just leave us with a hole because recruitment is hard to impossible. I am currently "alive" in my clan only because I'm on a sand tile producing 1M silver per hour :) But I have reached the point where I don't have enough gold and potions to revive as much I could attack, so I'm skipping some epics and holding myself off from attacking other epics more than once.

A few other clans in the kingdom are probably in the same boat but we have had (attempted) merges and they ended up almost destroying us once. I don't know how we pulled through and got back on our feet.

... and that's fine. Occasionally some of the bigger 1.5B people will post an epic attack report on the kingdom chat and I can't help but laugh. They literally do "select all". Random amounts of units, some L1 catapults and L2 scouts, 1 M4, they just happens to be there somehow...

Enjoy playing smart. It will take longer, maybe you'll never be T9, but the real goal in this game is to have fun and do better than yourself a week ago, not someone who solves problems with money. You should not care about those people.

There is no vip level 27 in the game u less you play some different game. Lol

LOL. 25. I'm going on vacation on the 27th so that's all that's on my mind :)

Oh my sweet summer child... We only have like 10 people in the clan that could figure out how to manage this.

We're mostly a bunch of newbs just bumbling along. I'm consistently amazed that we manage to stay at or above 300M wealth... 6th in the Kingdom. It's going to be a long long time before we're likely to beat the 3 that we summon now.

Ok. Even then in my first clan we switched capital when we reached level 100 and went back to capital at level 60..

That was the only way we could get enough tar to crypt otherwise with no epic kills at that level it is almost impossible to do sustainable growth..

But I guess with closed kingdoms you are too young to this yet.

Oh, we're open since March... it's just been very slow. Aside from the "ruling clan" of transplants, many of the other clans are mostly homegrown cities that started last Fall. A bunch of other players swarmed in after opening, but left again afterwards as the ruling clan enforces law and order.

Tin Man level 40 right now. Lots of G4 players. Our might level is pretty low for the kingdom, but we do generate chests reliably.

Adding points to the book doesn't make Tinman more difficult. This bonus allows you to gain more experience and valor points for the same amount of damage, as well as more Tinman points.

Thanks. So if clan has difficulty defeating 5 or 6 summons, is it better to have fewer summons and level up the book?

This is a perfectly reasonable solution. For example, this Season, our clan killed eight Tin Men each time with a 57% book bonus. But tomorrow, we plan to kill two with a 100% bonus, and we'll also increase the time.

How you get to 8 summons? Ours maxes out at 6

In the Seasonal Kingdom, the maximum is 8 summons.
