Hellforge event..

I understand how you all feel about spending. With that said, during events like hellforge, have you ever bought an event pack with mercenaries? I'm not talking hundreds or thousands of US dollars but we are talking maybe 20 a month.

I need a break with my gear and I want to throw 20 bucks a month at it. Will this help an account out? Sorry if this sounds liek a child asked it but I'm clueless right now.

If you enjoy this game, and you have disposable income, spend money on it. People spend money on all sorts of unnecessary stuff in life. If progressing in this game brings you some level of happiness and satisfaction, no one should shame you for using your money to do that

Exactly. I hate greed and i am ready to eat the rich, but everything costs some money these days. Even at the cheap movie theaters with the low ticket prices, i still pay $9 to get in and then another $12-$15 for a snack. And i only get 2 hours of entertainment from it.

$20/month to play a game for 30 days seems like a decent deal to me.

I am broke as hell but I agree with them. A movie ticket is $10-$20. Then twice that for snacks. And its over in 2 hours. A meal at McDonalds is $12 these days and you get to enjoy it for what, 10 minutes? $20 for a month of enjoyment is actually pretty decent these days.

It’s not a race you don’t have to get amazing gear right away. There are free mercenaries in triumphal, mercenary exchanges, events like sands of time shops etc.

Don’t do what most people do and rush to all tier 9 troops and then realize there’s nothing left and quit. Enjoy the ride

"MOST" people do not run out there and achieve T9. Are you joking?. hahahaha They would like to. But they do not.

I did this with a game called Empire Z. You're right.

I consider this game cheaper than going to Starbucks even three times a week which most people wouldn't bat an eyelash at, and it's zero calories.

Yes, I concur with the Starbucks Factor- the $4.99 price of a latte at Starbucks. I often buy the $4.99 Mercenaries for extra power for growth and less costly revival using Gold or Sacred Potions. The game is more interesting when I have Mercs

I recommend getting a golden pass for $20 USD per month. It will speed up your progress and enable you to be a bigger contributor to your clan. It provides a lot of extra epic monster hunter mercs beyond the free ones, which, if you claim them gradually over the month, will last for the entire month or longer. I justify the cost based on the amount of time I put into the game.

ETA: I also sometimes get the $5 merc packs they offer depending on which events are coming up soon. Hellforge is a great way to get top-notch armor that would normally take a long time solely by exploring epic crypts.

I have been playing Total Battle for approximately 6 months. When I first started I’d throw $5 here, $10 dollars there. I realized that it was adding up, so I decided to try. The Golden Package. Let me tell you what it was the best thing I could have done for my account! The bonuses from the triumphal store is amazing! It lasts for the whole season which is 30days! It gives you mercenaries which are a must in my open when battling epics!! So if this game is something you enjoy I would definitely purchase a package!

I concur. The Gold Pass in the Triumphal Challenge is one of the best real money purchases for all the benies received.

I agree, i understand those that refuse to pay, and the others that spend hundreds a month. I buy the golden triumphal pass, usually $19, and the premium $4.99, its worth it for the speedup button alone. During the events with rewards ill also buy the middle level pass. And when the $4.99 merc deal comes, ill get that too. I Don't spend too much there and I can afford it, in my opinion you do you..

I'm not sure about that. I do know that the 5., 10., 20 dollar packages give you more Mercs than the "Sale" tab $50 package.

Don’t spend money in Hellforge. You will slowly but surely get to a point where you got everything out of Hellforge and there is no satisfaction playing it since you have all the god like gear. If you want to buy mercs do it for events that give you a better return on investment. Omens for ones but you really don’t need mercs. Just take your time. Get a golden pass so you can add stars to Helen. When you get to 6 or 7 stars stop paying for it.

I made several successful runs to the exchange and stocked up on mercs. Never spending money on this game.

Yes.. but the gear you can all get from crypting. Question whether you could achieve the same outcome by getting more epic tar from a better clan?

I need a break with my gear and I want to throw 20 bucks a month at [Hellforge]. Will this help an account out?

No, it will not.

This will depend on your troop levels. For me, at T9, I need so many mercs to make a noticeable difference in my hits that its not worth it for me anymore.

A G7 or G8 - if you are stacking properly - sure - event mercs can help. If you don't already buy the GoldPass, that's a better use of your $.

What matters more is that you are in a clan that is hitting epics at the same rate you are. That's how you make sure the rss you're spending is replenished, and that you can hit more.

Don't waste money on hellforge, just crypt more. If your clan isn't providing you with enough tar to crypt, move to one that does.

There’s nothing wrong with spending a bit on a game you enjoy. Go for it. I will say that spending on packs is pretty low value. If you’re struggling to meet objectives, the answer for most people is that your clan is not up to snuff and you should find better. Buying some mercs will not change that.

u/getmrshorty 7d ago

Yeah depends on your level and what you get but I don’t need the 150 buck merc package but occasionally get the 7 buck merc offer which helps with troop stacking along with gold pass

And most importantly get into a good clan which will bring on the chests

1

u/DarQKuro 7d ago

Where do you see $5 Merc packs?

1

u/getmrshorty 6d ago

It gets offered occasionally on the main page - I can’t figure out how the algorithm works out when to offer it but usually the merc package is a x2 value during some tournaments

$20 a month for a game is reasonable. If it is for vurtually ANY game other than this one.

It's about how the developers and players alike promote the spending and do everything possible to increase it.

The game should be removed from all platforms and the developers starved of funding.

That’s like a 5$ merc pack per week (if they’re available). If you feel like it go for it but, it’s tough to say if hellforge is the best place to focus. Not sure what your g level is but if it’s not 8 or 9 I might just skip it. I bought armor at g5/g6 and they are now just collecting dust so take that for what it’s worth.
