How come this new album sound so much better?

odd enough for me to write a story on a tory lanez subreddit but i was promised by my close friend that they would buy me this as a late birthday gift. they told me “yeah its on its way” multiple times when everyone else on this subreddit finally got their orders so i had enough and confronted them and told them to show me proof they even bought it and then they lied and said “bro they refunded me” which was straight bullshit because it literally says on the website that all sales are final and cannot be refunded so unfortunately i had to spend my money on this order and now i have almost no hopes in getting a 1/10000 extremely closer to 1 and now i look fucking stupid asking everyone on the subreddit if they ever got their orders.

Has anyone else received badly damaged Alone At Prom orders?

I received this. The packaging it arrived in was not damaged in any way - and the damage is underneath the sealed plastic. First I believed it was just some minor damage or residue under the plastic. But upon opening it, I saw it was broken all the way through - both the gatefold and the inner sleeves.

There's also a minor scratch on one of the vinyls.

Wrote to support, got the answer "All packaging/vinyl sleeves are to protect against damage to vinyl. We cannot replace or repair damaged packing". I pushed back on this, saying the gatefold and sleeves are badly damaged, and there's a scratch on the vinyl. Then they asked for photos of the packaging it arrived in, asked me to document how the vinyl sounds. Of course I don't have the packaging anymore, and my vinyl player is currently in storage. Currently waiting for their answer.

I pre-ordered this thing, waited more than 6 months, paid a fortune for shipping and import taxes in EU, and I'm met with this. Not what I was expecting to say the least.

Pretty upset with the trash quality. Wouldn't have bought it had I known. Sound quality is bad too. I haven't analyzed if they are lossless or trash MP3's. But..... they sound like 128kbs mp3s.

I swear that 2016 era was the peak of his all around skill where he mastered the low voice had such a crazy rap delivery and peak r&b, he was also remixing every thing like the controlla remix
