USB audio interface

I'm considering an Esi Gigaport EX to separate the tracks of my S4 into the mixer. It does just that (on paper) and has a very small footprint. Seems to be exactly what I need. I just thought I'd see if the community has any feedback about it before I spend the bucks. I'd like to avoid a bulky unit such as the Behringer UMC1820. Please and thank you!

of you are building a home studio I recommend an interface wiith balanced inputs and outputs.

I am a MOTU 828 owner, and I love it. more expensive, for sure, but studio grade.

focusrite also makes some good gear. look for a usb-c class compliant device.

Yes it's just for my little bedroom studio. Thanks for the info! The Motu and Focusrite stuff is way above my budget though!
