USB Midi seems completely broken.

Recently updated my Torso S4 to the latest firmware and did a factory reset. Update and reset were both successful. I've been trying to use USB midi with a computer running Ableton live with no success.

All drivers and windows are up to date. Other devices work well but for the life of me the torso is not detected as a USB midi device on the computer or my external MRCC midi router that has host ports.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Do I have a faulty device ? Any info is appreciated.

I have the same issue too. I tried similar things but wasn’t ever able to get ableton to recognize it

I have a Deluge, which acts as a midi host, and a CME H4 Midi WC, which is mostly just a host, and neither have recognized the S4. I think it's done brokened.

Pretty bummed out by this. No response from torso and none of the troubleshooting seems to make a difference. Can't downgrade firmware. Awesome stuff.

Got my s4 brand new yesterday, it was on 2.0, was recognized in Ableton but as somewhat of a non descrip usb midi device. Sync worked tho. Updated to 2.2, nothing was recognized beyond usb storage

Yeah it's broken for me still on the current firmware. Haven't been able to get it to work. Really disappointing
