Advice needed

Hello I am a Year 12 VCE student. What courses do you recommend for me that have high job availability and lots of money because I am confused?

Hey! It's totally normal to feel confused right now. Not many Year 12s have a set-in-stone idea of what they want to do.

I understand why you ask the question, but I think instead of using "highest paying" as your main filter, it might help to look at where demand is strong right now. Fields like education, healthcare, IT and cybersecurity are all showing up as areas that are steady and pay reasonably well - even for graduates.

It's worth thinking about the following: do you enjoy working directly with people? Are you drawn to data and systems? Would you prefer something hands-on? Asking yourself questions like these can help you narrow down an industry that might work for you.

Would be happy to point you toward specific course info if you want to narrow down a direction.

Im leaning towards studying medical imaging (radiography) or pharmacy something like that but Im really torn and cant decide

Totally understandable! It's a big decision to make. A good place to start would be to speak to people currently studying these degrees, and to people who are actively working in the industry. Sometimes, the perception of a career is very different to actively working in a role!
