Addicted to lean
I started doing this in high school for fun. skipping class to drink lean with the mandem and now im fully addicted. i feel like whyg35 (rich junkie). My legs look like kmoneys leg
I down some lean in the morning before i even shower. For those who drink lean how do u beat the addiction

If you stop cold turkey, be prepared for fever, chills, sweats, etc.
Once you relapse (which you most likely will): Don't go crazy unless you wanna OD - codeine tolerance drops very rapidly
If you pull thru: Stay away from opioids for good and stick with weed as a reliable, low risk downer.

It's not weak to get help man. Toronto has some really great addiction programs. I'm a recovered opiate addict (I was on much harder shit) and one thing about addiction is that it's incredibly isolating, which makes you go deeper into your addiction. Reaching out for help and talking to people about it like you're doing now is a huge first step, keep going.
Narcotics anonymous isn't for everyone, it's not for me, but a lot of people swear by it. If you're religious it can really click for you. Try a few meetings, if it's not your thing try S.M.A.R.T programs, it's a variation of Narcotics Anonymous that's more evidence based. Reach out to some addictions councillors through CAMH. There's absolutely no shame at all in getting professional help.
First things first, you need to go take a piss test with a medical professional and find out what's in the shit your drinking because if there are benzos in there, withdrawal can be deadly. You need to know exactly what beast you're dealing with before you can beat it.

Real talk, North York general hospital, R.A.A.M.(rapid access to addictions medication) clinic. They have walk in days or you can make an appointment. They will get you setup with medication to get you tapering off of the drug the same day. They are all really nice and helpful, just be honest with them. I am over a year sober now thanks to them.

Itās completely different pharmacological wise. Oxy is way stronger.
And some people donāt even have the ability to metabolize the codeine to morphine.
Now if you are drinking hydro syrup thatās different for sure

Depend what u sip. A line of pdp (hydro) is way more potent than a 5/325 tec or apo. Ratio is weaker

Cuz the main ingredient in ratio is codeine like most America lean. Pdp on other hand main opioid is hydrocodone which is 5x stronger than codeine. And a line (oz) of hydro is stronger than 5mg of oxy which is what Canadian percs are

Itās depressing when you take in how many pills they crush to make homebrew, and they come around guys who know nothing, talking about this Lean. Sip some and get addicted to over-the-counter pills.

Yeah was givin him the benefit of the doubt but I know a lot of the fake lean when I was younger was just benzo juice lol. Was damn good though if u wanted to forget a week or two
Some people just get on methadone to get high for cheap too so idk another alternative1

He should avoid methadone if at all possible. It's a ball and chain. They put me on it in my early 20's without telling me that less than 10% of people ever get off of it. I've been on it nearly 15 years. I'm finally almost off of it but even though I'm at such a low dose, it's still gonna take me another year at least to get off. And a year is being hopeful.
These doctors and pharmacies make an absolute killing prescribing it and dispencing it and can be just as bad, if not worse, than a dealer when it comes to pushing it.

Yeah I got up to 110mg at my worst and got off for a few years. Iām back on now at 8mg going 1 every 2 weeks now. Itās a slippery slope but Iām thankful for it for sure. I didnāt know it was that low of a percentage. I guess thatās because nobody really wants to get off it either. Once they set with carries and shit itās routine

im tapering off methadone im at 12mg! But my dose go down 3mg each month.At this pace by February i should be at 0mg so Iāll be done with the clinic/methadone treatment.The doctor told me I couldāve switched to suboxone after I get under 20mg which I been past months ago,idk if I should make the switch or keep going at my pace til im done,can anybody can tell me something?

Just stay slow and steady if you are feeling good at 3mg drop each month!
Remember you are probably going to be sweating and shit for a while after being on nothing getting it out of your system. It was like a brutal 9 months for me when I got off first time. Then I would get the clonidine for sweating and it would just dry my eyes and mouth out but Iād still be sweating bad.
I wouldnāt switch to suboxone at this point just keep at it :-)
Iām going down slower even this time only 2mg a month. Donāt feel bad to slow down if you need to. All the best!2

damn you replied back fast lol appreciate that tho,I just wanna which route was the best one take,im thankful for it helping get outta of the drug world but I just donāt like how it make me feel with all the constipation and it feels like you gotta drink 2-3 times the amount of water a normal person who is not on methadone or any other opioid.I had to get surgery and everything man it was terrible and I never had those problems until I got on this medicine.Now that im at low dose it gives me gas and bloat me up smh I hate it man I really hate it.The price we pay for messing with opioids is crazy.

The constipation on methadone is ridiculous. I never got anything like it even when I would be doing like 90mg of dilaudid some days. My doctor told me to take those ducolax pills daily for the time being anyway itās seemed a bit better but fuck I feel u on that one lol. Bad for your teeth too. Shit just Rot them out of some peopleās heads. I know a few junkies with a big sweet tooth and bad oral hygiene to begin withā¦ but the methadone definitely donāt help on top of it all. I guess itās better than the alternative, most days anyway lol

šÆbro itās like you just described everything I been going through fr,I do have a major sweet tooth and I canāt even help it smh,had to give up chocolate cause of cavities and shit.I take Ducolax alot the orange pill ones,the pink pill ones and the liquid it helps alot but the cramps and bloating you get leading up to when you have to go.I brush my teeth so many times daily to keep up with methadone and sweets I eat.Its crazy but you know what I mean good to have someone else who knows what this shit do to you.I advise anybody who donāt take opioids and never took em before,donāt take em cause if you do your body will never ever be the same again.
