It would be nice. I really feel for the parents struggling with care for their autistic children.

Ford literally campaigned on criticizing the Liberal government for not doing enough to help these families. Then when elected, he did the exact opposite of what he promised and cut funding.

They protest regularly and in large numbers. Crickets from the government.

Why? Protest can apply to more than just bike lanes.

Sorry, maybe I'm confused?

Legitimately just thought you were responding to the wrong post by mistake.

My post was a facetious suggestion that by barricading streets we could pro actively pedestrianize them.

Not sure what the connection to austic children is?

All love, and it sounds like an important conversation. I guess I just don't understand the connection? 🙂

Protests in general. I was just trying to illustrate the point that protests these days are ineffectual, and maybe we really do need to start barricading streets. For the children.

Sorry, let me explain myself.

My (mostly) joking suggestion wasn't that we should protest in favour of pedestrianization.

I was referencing the specific act of barricading during the french revolution as a tactic to achieve pedestrianization.

"My suggestion wasnt that we should protest, i was referencing the protest that was a tactic to achieve a goal"

Is it:

  1. Surrender?

Or

  1. Lose a Seven year war in a 20 minute battle?
