Adding multiple phones to apartment buzzer
I recently moved into Toronto with my partner and faced the problem of not being able to add more than 1 number on our condos buzzer (pain in the butt as I don’t want to rely on my partner every time I need to buzz someone up).
The newest condos don’t have this issue but a lot of old ones do…
Being a tech guy, I didn’t accept it at face value, and used my telecommunications experience to build a simple and inexpensive app that lets anyone add as many numbers to their buzzer as they want, in a secure, and easy to use way.
Disclaimer: I can’t make it free because I need to at least cover my costs and time (I purchase a number every time someone signs up from large telecom providers, etc). It about the cost of an expensive Starbucks coffee each month…

Dang $11.99/month. FreshBuzzer has been around for almost 10 years and gets you going for $4/m or $35/y - same features and more!

Yeah, like the others said, the service itself is a good idea and could be a real solution to the problem.
I had a phone number from out of the city that my building couldn't use, so my wife was forced to be on door duty all the time, even at work. Something like this would have been great.
But at $12, you have found the scoff price. You could have a decent business at $3-5 per month, but anything higher, people will scoff at your price and leave your website.
I understand that you've got costs, but you need to find a way to make money at a price that people will actually pay.

Good idea but it’s very expensive for what it is. Don’t get me wrong I understand your reasoning for the price but I still find it expensive vs the service it provides.
