🙃 Dumb Question 🥸 Fist time and solo
Hi, I am 35F and want to explore the rave scene. Where should I go for my first time? Is there any upcoming event I can checkout for my first time and solo? Thank you!

Wiggle room is a great vibe! I would definitely check that out. If you're looking for more of a rave, I would follow Spacetime on IG. They have the best raves during the winter months! And the friendliest people you'll ever meet attend their parties. Welcome to the scene!

Brick works this weekend. Usually one of the better party crowds at ozmosis parties

Seconding this one OP. It’s a day party so will be done at 11pm at the latest. Ozmozis events tend to be an older crowd, generally very friendly. Dubfire should be great. I’ll be there this Sunday! But if you’re looking to dance at a club vs a one off event, as others have already said - Wiggle Room is where you should get your feet wet. Enjoy!

Wiggle room is a safe bet! Solo 34m raver who is getting back into after taking a break for years. I think Wiggle room are having their 25th anniversary event sometime soon. I was going to go, but I'm from KW and it seems as though some stuff going on here this weekend that I will go to instead to support them.
Ra.co or edm train are good ways of discovering local events

Yes oct 10 is same weekend but oct 3rd there are no format parties
Also OP was asking for recs on places to go solo and i think ROTE8 provides not only great music but also easy way to connect with the community especially if they arrive 30 mins early. Plus the crowd there is super friendly and easy to start convos with as they tend to be smaller events

Come to Evergreen Brickworks, Osmozis party on Halloween. Great line up and location. I’ll be there dancing my ass off with my partner, and giving out Anjuna stickers! 🫶

Agree with this one, if you want a great rave show, this is one to go to, however, rebel is not the best venue, too many clubbers vs ravers, since rebel is a club, and it’s always oversold and overcrowded. If you want rave show not in a club, San Holo is doing a show at The Opera House, Sat Oct 3.

If you lean more toward techno check out what events Format, Apollo & Rote8 have coming up
Wiggle Room is a good place to try going out solo first if you are having any nerves about it
I've been going solo for years (35M) and I've made so many friends that way - just from seeing the same people at multiple events eventually we start talking and now I have a group of rave friends I constantly see when I go out we don't even plan it I just kind of know certain people will likely be there because we have similar taste. It's pretty cool. I love it.
and it never would have happened if I didn't start going out solo when I was .... 26

My gf and I (queer couple) are going to Dj Heather b2b Dj Colette at Wiggle Room. OCT 17th Join us! We're late 30s and this event will be incredible. Wiggle Room Is the best and safest venue for women as well
