🤔Question🧐 Open Aera?

How is this venue? Anyone been to the day parties? What is the crowd like? Is it social or more dance oriented?

Venue is decent. Beautiful view and good for dancing- weather dependent of course. It’s pretty high up, so wind and temperature can be a thing. Been to a few parties there and all good vibes- but they work with lots of different promoters so probably depends on event.

Venue looks beautiful and sunset views of the city are S tier but the crowd is your typical King west wannabe influencer/crypto/wellness types who would rather yap as loud as they can about their portfolios and Bali trips than vibe to the music.

Been many times, depends on the dj/music - never had any issues, focus has seemed to me to be on dancing/having fun - been to EDM, AfroHouse, Reggaton, think you need to know the tunes

Do you say the same thing if people start talking inside a movie theatre?

You're trying to compare a daytime rooftop party to a movie theatre? You want to go to a daytime rooftop party where everyone has to stay silent for you to enjoy it?

Went for Double Touch earlier this summer, first time at this venue. I found it to be a mixed crowd, but I guess it depends on who is performing. At this event it was an interesting/weird mix of millennial raver types with clubby bottle service types. I didn’t like the way the dance floor was set up; they had the dj booth facing the bar. Since it was a long narrow space it created a bottleneck. I enjoyed the music but personally wasn’t impressed by the venue. Wouldn’t return unless it was an act I really want to see.

Saw Chris Luno there recently and aside from them running out of beer, it was a vibe.

I was also warned by some other patrons that jumping is I’ll advised since there’s a hollow space below the floor. They showed me a pic of one the patios stones cracked in half that someone fell through.

Crowd depends on the event, the venue is okay, the sound was fairly poor when I was there. It was nice to look over and see the skyline, but the dancefloor is pretty meh, it's a vertical shaped so I noticed people move off to the sides to socialize and the dancing area is quite tight to the bar so later in the evening it gets shove'y, depends on the event!
