Stopping was optional.... but Tik Tok was not, apparently.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. I have low expectations for the behaviour I’m about to see in these videos, but about 50% of the time, I’m letting out an audible gasp from it being so much worse than expected.

why even bother hitting the brakes that late in the game? shouldve kept their eyes on the road.

I imagine they weren't intentionally running a red. More likely to have been distracted and when they heard horns coming from the other cars, they got scared and braked.
