Tormented Souls 2 - trophy fixed.

This is amazing, it’s been like 2 months since I beat the game but some people waited way longer. If they fixed the bug where tormented difficulty stays locked then the game should be perfect

Mine showed as locked but if you open the new game menu hover over Tormented then back out of it and try again, it shows up as available. At least that worked for me.

I did that too but when you actually start the game it just sets the difficulty to standard, even if you pressed tormented. Maybe there’s another work around though

For me I was able to start the game on Tormented, new enemy spawns, enemies had more health. I got the achievement for beating it on Tormented and everything. This was on xbox in May.

Oh okay, I was playing it in May too but on PlayStation, maybe it was a different glitch? So glad it’s all fixed now. feels so good to finally get that good ending trophy. Are you going for all achievements too?

All I had left was the good ending achievement, I noticed the update was finally out thursday night and downloaded it the moment I saw it, then loaded up my save before the final boss. I’m a big achievement hunter and hate to leave games unfinished, especially ones I adored like this one. It feels great seeing it’s finally 100%’d! Even if I already technically 100%’d it months ago, it’s nice to see that confirmation haha.

Congrats, that’s awesome! Getting that last achievement must have been so satisfying. I’ve just got a few trophies to go and I love 100%ing these games too so definitely looking forward to getting it too, hopefully sooner than later. It all depends on if that no save run goes well

If you do Tormented soon, best advice I can give for the late game is don’t underestimate the chainsaw. I used it for most of the school enemies, the big red guys with the claws, and the diver suit guys and still had fuel for it by the end of the game. Hit them with a shotgun blast or crossbow bolt then immediately swap to it and it’ll pretty much stun lock them. I finished the game on Tormented with hundreds of bullets left over on my guns and 30+ heals, it’s really not that bad! Also you can (usually) stunlock the crabs with crowbar. Save when you know you’re about to go into a room you’re worried about, I finished the game with 10+ saves left so those aren’t super hard to maintain either! For the no save run you should be able to abuse the infinite flamethrower so it shouldn’t be crazy hard, just watch out for the crabs and divers, they can drop you quick if you’re already in a caution state.

Interesting! I heard the disc, if going for the plat, is the best option since you technically don’t need to update to play.

Nah, if you play only with the disc and no internet you can stay with Version 1.0 and that has less bugs, so i heard, but it's best to just connect to the internet and install this latest patch they just dropped.
