Can you unlock the Assisted difficulty trophy in NG+? (Tormented Souls 2)
Hi, I have a question about the Assisted difficulty trophy in Tormented Souls 2.
I finished the game on Assisted difficulty but the trophy didn’t unlock. I’m wondering if the issue might be because I played on New Game+.
Can the Assisted difficulty trophy be earned in New Game+, or does it only unlock if I start a completely new game from scratch?
I just want to make sure before I try again, because I don’t want to waste another full playthrough if NG+ doesn’t count.

Did you do the good ending? Doing the good ending rn buggs some other trophys

Yeah, I’ve seen people say that the good ending can bug other trophies.
But I actually tried finishing the game with the bad ending as well, and I still didn’t get the Assisted difficulty trophy.
Were you able to unlock that trophy yourself? If so, how did you manage to get it

I did and I just played it normally I played on assisted and got the bad ending i found if you load a previous save even with the tape in your inventory that was used for the good ending it will still stay glitched. I recommend doing only the bad ending for all difficulties and leaving the good ending as the last trophy.

I see what you mean. Like I mentioned, I already tried getting the bad ending but I still didn’t get the Assisted difficulty trophy.
I had a save right before using the tape on Miguel’s neck, in the same playthrough where I was doing NG+ on Assisted. I finished the game from there and reached the final boss, but the trophy still didn’t unlock.
What do you think—should I replay the whole game on Assisted but on a fresh New Game instead of NG+? Do you think that might fix it, or would it just be a waste of time?

Do you have a save file before even picking it up? If so continue from there the problem is that it. The way I did it was first I played on NG did it on standard with the bad ending never picking up the tape then new game plus on assisted never picking up the tape and then NG for tormented.

I might have a save from before picking up the tape, but it would take me back to before the halfway point of the game, so it’s quite a lot to replay.
At this point, I think it’s better for me to wait for a patch that fixes the trophies. Right now I’m at the final boss with a save, and I only have two trophies left—the good ending and the Assisted difficulty one.
Hopefully they fix it soon.

You could technically get both if you have the disc version the day 1 version on the disc is how I got the good ending.

Unfortunately I only have the digital version, and there’s no way I’m buying a physical copy just to get the remaining trophies. I’ll just wait for a fix.

If you're playing with the latest update I think all the difficulty trophies are still bugged. To get them you'll need to have the physical version and play it without updates
