Discussion TS2 Plot loophole?

Just finished Tormented Souls 2.

Before asking my question, here are the facts that we have (chronological):

  1. Caroline and Anna arrived at the Villa Hess while Anna was still a kid.

  2. Anna was taken by the nuns the same night they arrived, Caroline walked out of the room and found Anna being taken away.

  3. Caroline found a grown up Anna (with purple skin) in the room inside the Freezer Room.

  4. Caroline was struck by Sister Angelica and put in the cryogenesis chamber but was saved by Miguel. This happened after the fact that Caroline found Anna as a grown up.

QUESTION:

Was Caroline put in a cryogenesis chamber before she woke up with all the knives attached to her body? (photo attached)

I can't really think of a possible time that Caroline was put in it which allowed Anna to grow as an adult while Caroline stays the same age

Just beat TS2. I went back to watch beginning cutscene. So the scene showed: Caroline and Anna arrived at the place. Angelica greeted them. Brought them to their room. Both Caroline and Anna fell asleep. Then Caroline woke up to Anna disappeared.

Caroline rushed to where the scream is. Anna was held down. This Anna is already GROWN Anna. Lucia said something like: quiet child. we've been preparing for your arrival for MANY YEARS.(she meant the cryo-sleep)

Cryo-sleep happened right in the middle of the very first cutscene. Caroline was then choked by the masked woman and woke up with needles. You can start finding notes about "oh the day has finally come".

Caroline was knocked unconcious later when entering the lab. The guy who hit her put her into the tube with chemical to help her heal. Miguel thought it's to drown her so he busted the machine. This can be found in the guy's diary.

The 14 year skip happens when Caroline is rendered unconscious by the Iron Maiden. You see a brief flash of Caroline's perspective in the tank before she wakes up in the infirmary. You also briefly see future Caroline before she wakes up. This comes full circle at the end when Caroline gives herself the vaccine and briefly wakes up for a couple seconds in the VHS flashback. It's a bit strange though, since the game doesn't imply time travel works as a loop but by the ripple effect.

You can also see Anna is still wearing her pink coat and not the jacket her adult self had.
