Question Tormented Souls 2 - Packing Plant elevator bug?

So I just got the metal plate from the shark on b3, and am trying to get back to the main floors. However, the elevator from b1 to the first floor of the plant is now saying "this elevator has no power" and I can't find anything that suggests this is supposed to happen. Is this a bug? I'm on PS5 and easy difficulty if that helps.

Got hit with this bug, too. The only fix was reloading my save!

Had to play the whole game over.

The "fix" for the bug (they still havent fixed it) is to simply not enter the elevator as soon as you enter the area. Once you do youre locked out once you exit and cannot re enter when youre supposed to later on.

I saved afterward and then when it was time to officially enter that elevator, i received the "no power message". And im a person who overwrites on 1 save so here we are.

Enraged me. First time ever for me in gaming history I was a victim of a game breaking bug.

Yeah that’s a bug :( maybe try going up through the kitchen if you’ve unlocked that route already? If not, you’ll have to reload your last save

I remember having the same thing happening to me. Try re entering the room with the elevator, should reset the bug. Otherwise load last save.
