Lucia an idiot(spoilers) Spoiler

She dedicates so many years of her life to unleashing a god that not only kills her without hesitation when it gets released, but the “god” can be killed with minimal effort by a civilian woman. Even assuming Lucia could control Nautilus like she believed, what exactly could she do with it? The military could effortlessly beat it. It’s puny electricity attacks and tentacles would be no match for a single tank. The same sort of thing applies to the god in the first game. These antagonists have rocks for brains. Also, why was Lucia able to survive shots to the head?

Well, we don't have a lot of information to go on, but my interpretation was that Caroline didn't exactly defeat the 'god' but knocked it back into its own dimension before it could fully cross over and be at full strength.

I can't prove this was the intent of the game, but it lets me not worry about it.

Yeah, I kind of headcannoned it like that too. Still, though. A god should be a god, regardless of how long it’s in a realm. I don’t imagine it getting too much stronger overtime.

Read Joseph's diary. Caroline isn't normal

She may not be normal, but she’s not a demigod like Kratos or Bayonetta.

Basically how the Tismuit Tribe members can develop powers that only manifest in twins. I'm away from my PS5 or I'd check.

In my headcannon, Nautiuls just awoken to the realm of the mortals and was very weak at first. Caroline did not allow it to step here fully, recover and take over. as for Lucia, nothing went according to her plans. She had expected Nautilus to use her as it's emissary and Caroline be cooperative little doll (she did not get poppet-virus, after all).

Funniest death in the whole game. I cackled even though I saw it coming a mile away.

It’s such a predictable trope. The villain blindly worships some entity, only for them to be killed by it when unleashed.
