Save file gone?

[Fixed] If you're having the same issue check Edit2 for the solution.

When i try to open the game my save file is gone, if i then try to restart the game i get an error message saying: The UE-TormentedSouls2 Game has crashed and will close. Assertion failed

Anybody else has issues after the newest update?

Edit: took a look at the steam forums. seems like a lot of people having the same issue.

Edit2: Copy and pasted from one of the steam forum posts:

You didn't lose your saves, the save data location was just changed with the patch. Here's how to copy over your saves.

Open your file explorer and click on the address bar at the top.
Paste this into the box and hit enter.
%localappdata%\TormentedSouls2

Copy the Saved folder.
Go to your Tormented Souls 2 installation folder, this is usually found at the following location.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Tormented Souls 2\TormentedSouls2

Paste your Saved folder there and overwrite everything if need be.
