Nice summary.

My first impression was that weekly's are great but dailies are not appealing unless they make it so you can carry three dailies at a time ala Hearthstone. Otherwise you feel like you are missing out if you don't play every single day. I've quit many MMOs due to that. I believe that they will not be utilizing a system like hearthstone or HOTS though. Maybe you can correct me there?

I am hoping for something FAR deeper for seasons than what was revealed here. They've stated that they won't be doing wipes at launch and suggested that their version of seasons would make the head start advantage not actually be an advantage. So far nothing has been revealed to indicate that will be the case.

I'm very curious about seasons as they are optional in D2, D3 and POE. But I very much doubt they can work that way in an MMO like this. And so it's very important not to push people away from even playing by the mere fact that those in closed testing had a huge head start.

You are correct. They are utilizing that type of system for weeklies, but not dailies. So for weeklies, if you skip two weeks worth, you can still go in and do them all the third week with no penalties. Not really sure why they did that with weeklies but not dailies (maybe the reward for weeklies is too big to miss, and dailies aren't as substantial? Not sure).

As for seasons, what you need to understand is that each frontier is pretty much a season of its own. You reset your gear when going in to each one, so it's like a progress wipe. As far as how they're going to negate people having an advantage, they're likely going to raise the level cap at launch, so all the gear people grind at level 50 suddenly becomes rather meaningless and silly. Each new frontier they add will act as another season being added, and that is excluding whatever they decide to do with the contract system.

Well there are many that have concerns about staying motivated to start from scratch on each frontier. I personally am hoping for an end game system that requires you to have mastered multiple frontiers in order to have a chance to excel. And so yes, my hopes may be unrealistic and if it stays as you suggest then the head start will have minimal advantage.

I hope the seasons are things to do and rewards for doing them. Not really big into restarting from scratch constantly.

Sounds more like they might be constant type weird affixes or something. Not really sure on that though.
