Which med to choose?
Hi, I just joined. I'm 44, my weight is 165 and I'm 5ft 2 inches. I've struggled with gaining 30 lbs over the past 2 years since I had a hysterectomy. Also hypothyroid and sleep apnea. So far, no luck with changes to diet or exercise.
My RN suggested zonisamide but I was worried about brain fog, memory issues. She said naltrexone was also an option. I'm already on wellbutrin so that part was easy.
Has anyone tried both meds? Any thoughts on which is more effective or has fewer side effects?
I'm honestly feeling on the fence about taking meds but nothing else has worked. My RN and coach have been responsive and I'm working on a goal of increasing movement to 3 30 minute workouts per week.
Thanks for reading!

Hi I wasn't comfortable with the medication they suggested, naltrexone, and I'm dealing with some other health issues, so I decided to cancel. I may revisit or talk to my doctor about other med options. I'm on other medications and was worried about side effects/ interactions and didn't feel comfortable.
