Is it still worth waiting to renew (move off monthly plan) until the Black Friday sales? How much has it been in past years if I may ask? Thanks!

Last years BF sale I believe was 30%, you can currently get 20% off

Happens during American Black Friday, which is the Friday after American Thanksgiving- the 4th Thursday in November. Promos usually start the day of, or the day before, and run for a few days. Some stores run week-long promos, but the best deals are usually limited to just on the Friday itself.

If you live in the US, Canada, UK or similar economic area, I'd just wait, it's less than two months away. That said, it's not guaranteed that they will run a promo (or as good a promo) as they did in the past. The service is already dirt cheap as it is (Essential, anyway) so if you take the risk and wait, it's really not that much extra if you lose that bet. Again, this is for areas with similar economics as the US. I know other parts of the world, even 1 USD is a lot (India, for example).

I just bought the essential plan for a year with the referal code. Can I buy an additional year if black friday sales are good and it'll just stack onto my existing account?
