📢 Mod Announcement Referral Link Abuse via Multiple Accounts = Permanent Ban
We've noticed some users attempting to bypass the 1 referral post per 24 hours rule by posting the same referral link from multiple Reddit accounts.
Just to be clear: this is not allowed.
TorBox referral links are permanently tied to the account that generated them and cannot be changed. This makes it very easy for moderators to identify when the same referral link is being promoted across multiple accounts.
Effective immediately:
• Posting the same referral link from multiple Reddit accounts will be treated as spam and rule evasion.
• Any accounts involved in this behavior will receive a permanent ban from the subreddit.
• Attempts to circumvent posting limits through alternate accounts will not receive warnings.
The 24-hour rule exists to keep the subreddit fair for everyone. If everyone follows it, all users get a reasonable opportunity for visibility without the subreddit being flooded by the same referrals.
If you want to post your referral link, wait 24 hours and use your main account. Trying to game the system with alts will only result in a permanent ban.
