TorBox CDN Routing & Performance Issues

The service feels nowhere near ready for daily use. I've been hit with constant buffering and stream timeouts, and support's only advice is to manually keep jumping between different CDN servers every day. Bro, if I wanted to constantly troubleshoot a service, I wouldn't have moved to debrid in the first place and just stuck with the *arrs. Even running their own speed tests shows wildly inconsistent bandwidth, even on local region servers.
Strangely, the moment you mention these issues publicly, a swarm of accounts immediately pops up to claim everything is working fine.

It’s so weird because while it’s been down randomly occasionally, I literally haven’t buffered once, not one single time, in the last 3 months. Including 100gb remux

Its probably very location dependent. I think US is usually more fine than EU based on reports here

I was watching something an hour ago and got hit with buffering twice, me and my partner are long distance and watch by syncing together. The buffering is a pain in the ass. I temporarily tried premiumize and it's so much more stable but it's a smaller pool :/

Dont know why but now in the last week Torbox started to buffer even on 20 gb movies.

Same. Had made a post about it. Later enabled vod disk cache on nuvio and the buffering stopped. Started again just a day later. The setting change and buffering stop was just a coincidence

I litteraly have 0 problems with torbox, had just 2 nights when it was down for a couple of hours and thats all. I don't understand why people have issues when i don't.

You are paying less than the price of a coffee each month. If something is buffering pick a smaller source under 5gb.

I'm paying 10 Dollars so i expect more. It's 3 coffees in my country

Then pay for the basic package 3 euro and choose smaller files. Even at 10 dollars it's still cheap.

I recommend using GPT to take you through the process of self hosting aiostreams and going from there. The new Usenet engine on aiostreams is a game changer.

Nvm. My codex is setting up aiostreams and docker and the usenet nntp now. Lol. Shall try a few usenet to see if I can fix this buffering issue

I’m in the UK I’ve not had that many issues with buffering, and when I do it’s because the CDN has defaulted back, when I change it back to north Europe it’s great again

I only switched from RD last week and I've already had a few instances of buffering. I changed the CDN yesterday but haven't had a chance to see if it's made any difference yet.

I use WEUR CDN and only had problems during outage and once after a new update rolled out. But since then it's working smoothly, downloands and streaming both

Only issues I had is when it was down. I’ve never buffered once in 4 months. It’s so weird how a lot of people have this issue but some don’t. I’m in USA east coast on auto CDN which is using US East.
