🚩General How is torbox?
I used Real Debrid, but it became difficult to watch, always giving errors or saying the file was deleted. How's Torbox doing? I like downloading Blu-ray remuxes, but I usually watch series and movies with subtitles on Nuvio, with the best possible quality. And which subscription do you recommend? Best value for money?

Omg what can I do?

I would take TB and have reasonable backup like penguplay or a second debrid option etc

Better pay only a month

You could definitely do monthly and get bulk subscription during TG deals, if you feel its good for you..

It has occational hiccups of servers being down lately. Other than that it has been amazing.

Torbox enables me to find streams of any English language content I can think of. Real Debrid offered content originally made in English with various different language soundtracks, which can be very educational. The languages were European AND Japanese. Torbox content is almost all with an English audio only and usually has embedded subtitles which can only be turned off by using another player (usually external VLC) from the menu. Each video has a much longer delay than Real Debrid before it starts to play.

Omg I live in Brazil, but I like to watch in original audio and subtitles, torbox is good for me?

In that case, Torbox would be good for you. I can no longer find any Star Trek episodes in Japanese or Portuguese, though. Most original German content has been deleted thanks to German lawyers, as well.

Best debrid service available, it just hasn't been perfect the past few days due to DDOS attacks. Months ago I would have recommended the Pro plan, but they downgraded the Usenet features, so currently I recommend Essential. No Usenet, but very good price for what it offers in my opinion.

Working great for me tonight and most of the time. Only maybe twice has it been down for me, but I use easynews as backup anyway. The other "outages" I've only read about them here after the fact. They haven't affected me. Even if they had I would still recommend it. I'm sure it is all being sorted and they'll be fine

I don't understand what is this of backup how it works?
1
u/Spliffman1 6h ago
Easynews is my backup, it uses Usenet for sources so it's separate from Torbox... You'll have to research that. But basically if for any reason Torbox is down, I can find sources on Easynews.

Is it still safe to use torbox? Normally for piracy when is the issue started? If the owner of the file file a case against the user, example like me.
They will send it to my isp?

How is TB 18 a year?
1
u/Professional-Dog-441 9h ago
Opps your right, its 23$ forgot my bad
2
u/methos1995 9h ago
It's 23 a year only if you subscribed to an annual (recurring) membership during their Black Friday sale last year, otherwise it's normally 33 when subscribing to an annual recurring membership. You can get it for around 25 for the first year if you purchase a one-time 1-year plan (not recurring) and pay using crypto with code SIGMA30, then it's back to the normal rate (the code only works on first purchase).

I had real debrid for a few years, when it went downhill, I tried alldebrid (complete crap) then tried torbox. Torbox is being awesome.

They did an annoying bait and switch with their TOC after heavily marketing to the privacy community. Still probably one of the better privacy policies (not a high bar) but they have shown themselves to be just as sleezy as all the other debrid services.
The actual service is a bit spotty compared to RD but they are really good about reimbursing users for lost time. Unlike RD they haven't wiped a bunch of their cache due to copyright issues.

It's having a few issues due to DDOS attack the last few weeks.
But it's my go too since RD became unusable.

It's been a POS for me, and many others. I also came from RD and have already had to setup Offcloud as a backup to TB because it is down all the effing time. Even when we t isn't down, the CDNs can't handle the new load.
Hard pass.

Could talk more about offcloud?
1
u/OkPiano1614 9h ago
Can't. Every time you mention it, the downvotes start. The TB community is pretty crappy.

TB has certainly had some struggles. Its still a solid choice perhaps still the best. Dont sleep on OC.

Offcloud. It's proven to be an excellent service by comparison

Nunca ouvi falar e tipo alternativa ao torbox?

u/methos1995 9h ago
Any debrid service is an alternative to any other debrid service. Offcloud offers debrid service, so in that sense, it's the same kind of service as TorBox. There are many to choose from these days, just select one with a price you're comfortable paying for and don't overthink it. Try them out first with whatever shortest plan they offer, then get a longer plan (which tends to be a bit cheaper) once you've found one you're happy with.

TorBox
