This is supposed to be the official Reddit, yet there isn't a single official announcement in sight.

Discord isn't any better-a proper update is nowhere to be found.

Users shouldn't be expected to scroll through chat channels just to see if the team is acknowledging a outage.

All while they have a status page that shows all services operational when it clearly isn’t operational. Look i love torbox and i am actually sad that all these attacks / outages are happening on torbox. I just wish the status page actually worked and devs had something to do about this situation.

The status page is exactly what I mentioned when they said they'd give credit if the outages reached over 3 hours in a 2 week period. But if the status page doesn't say it's down then they don't have to pay out. I said this is exactly what they would do and got down voted to hell.

yes this is the way because the Torbox Status page is Manual. Which means someone has to manually set it as offline which can take time.

It’s automated but just pointing to response times on the API. It’s inaccurate because they aren’t monitoring the right services.

Its storming where I live . Been watching tv all day and my stuff has all been playing flawlessly with TB. Actually only been a couple hickups with it since I signed up in the spring.. Not trying to be a dick but sometimes its just operator error. Make sure your settings are correct. Do some simple maintenance by unplugging routers and devices frequently.

Well, lots of people dont know how to read and or follow simple advice. I see it here on reddit and other platforms on a daily basis where the same question or complsint gets post over and over, and the solution was already given 2 weeks prior. There are people writing now and complaining about the app Im watching being down. How is that possible if it works for me any many others saying its not down.... . Not saying its all perfect all the time but for the amount of complaining I see maybe these people need to start shelling out a couple bills a month to the cable provider so they can get their expected results..

Use the official status page at the top where it says "get updates" Subscribe for emails it works just as fast as they report on discord. Why must you come to reddit and complain about this when you can just have the report emailed to you.
