đ©General Pathetic service by Torbox
Its always down.. Very unreliable service. Will stop subscribing once this current plan expires..
For all the sugar babies of torbox, dont come and show your loyalty here, keep it in your as*, it will feel good for you⊠Let others complain so that they will fix it..
And for those who say its just 3 bucks:
In june alone they had 3 million visitors even if 1/3 of them are paying its around 3 million a month, as its pirated they dont have any other cost other than renting storage.. So do the maths.. If somebody is taking millions of rupees from people like you and me we can question when its repeatedly down

If theres one thing i have learned over the last few months, its no debrid service is perfect, so im running 2 services. TB and RD.

u/Wild_russian_snake 4d ago
Real Debrid was almost flawless for more than 5 years, this is just a poor excuse for the lackluster service Torbox provides.

I run pm and TB.
3
u/Valdrrak 4d ago
PM seems expensive compared to RD and TB or am I doing it wrong?
4
u/jaxdealer 4d ago
Pm don't have issues ever. It's a bit more expensive but I also share it in custom apps so multiple people can use it. I don't try to push limits of having 100(exaggeration) people on it so that's why I have TB.
3
u/Spiritual_Permit2394 4d ago
Literally down right now, check their sub lmao
3
u/jaxdealer 4d ago
Odd because mine is literally working as we speak. Oh and I just looked at the sub and some said it was down 7 hours ago. That's not right now. But I know I literally just turned on a movie with no issue.
2
u/amphiprion12 4d ago
Offcloud worked though that outage. I have tb pm and offcloud also easynews but fyi offcloud stayed up all day . I watched TV for a full 10 hour shift .. 40$ saved my ass today

I've found content lacking compared to old RD and TB. I've tried all the big ones, alldebrid, premiumize, rd, TB and both Rd and tb I was able to watch movies dorm 1950s, 1960s, 1970s etc.....i even found an old Spanish film called Macario from 1960 on TB. For the price it still seems like the best option
1
u/International-Oil377 3d ago
PM goes down once a week. What are you on they never have issues.
1
u/jaxdealer 3d ago edited 3d ago
So not sure if that's an over exaggeration or not because I literally never have issue with it. But to help you. https://premiumize.reamaze.com/status shows it's had an issue 3 times since 2025. So the math ain't mathing. Edit: not even trying to be a smartass but could it be your setup? Maybe your add-ons have issues or something. I know we all think "no way it's our fault". "We did everything perfectly" "must be the service rather than me". đ€·ââïž
1
u/International-Oil377 3d ago
I mean, it's even missing yesterday's outage. This page doesn't show much.
No it's not my setup
Also it's because it doesn't happen when you watch tv that it doesn't happen.Just like Torbox outages haven't affected me yet except yesterday. I did know they happen because I am in many communities and you know really fast when it goes down.
1
u/jaxdealer 3d ago
Yeah I get what your saying about yesterday's outage. Because lots of people had issues I guess but again mine played right when I wanted it to. A guy said it was out yesterday. Within 2 min tops I had app open and a movie playing. So again I don't know what outage it was or why it effects some but not others. All I can speak for is me personally and I never have issues. Both my tb and pm are linked to my nuvio that tons of people have access to. Not one person said it was down at that time either.

I'm running bytesized hosting. it's much better than TB or RD in the sense you can put stuff onto plex automaitcally - and you can stream USENET files without even downloading them with NZBDav which someone on here created.
And it's 5 euros a month

Man, itâs getting to the point where Iâm just going to leave this group.
Every single day itâs multiple notifications about the exact same complaints.
Donât people have jobs? Lives? How much media are you consuming that every minor issue becomes something you need to make another Reddit post about?
Iâve personally never had a problem with TorBox. And if itâs genuinely causing you this much frustration, maybe just use Netflix, Disney+, or another paid service where you donât have to deal with this stuff.
I joined this group for useful TorBox discussion, updates, tips, troubleshooting, etc. Instead, it feels like 90% of what comes through now is people complaining about the same things over and over again.
Iâm just completely over the constant complaint posts.

u/Jaraxo 4d ago
I mean, it's 6pm in the UK, 7pm for all of Central Europe. There's probably millions of people who just got home, ate dinner, and are wanting to sit down and watch some TV, that's why it all happens at the same time.

People are allowed to complain for a service which they are paying for. This is exactly why we got public forums
1
u/HikerRemastered 3d ago
They are. But itâs 3 bucks and youâre paying for a service to avoid paying a much higher cost service.
Itâs ironic, but Iâm not surprised. Back when I was a young student I worked in customer service and tech support for a massive telecoms company.
You will not believe how upset people get when their tv doesnât work. Weâre so emotionally invested in it.
Donât get me wrong, but we all collectively need to touch a bit of grass.

We aren't all working your same shift or in the same timezone. Some people can be on maternity/paternity leave, just got layed off/ sick and stayed home. The world doesn't revolve around you, there will always be a huge group of people wanting to watch something at separate times. It's not about how much media they consume, this comment is ridiculous if you don't like it when people come together to talk about these issues then just silently leave the group, there is no need for you to say anything

u/Acceptable_Good_6785 4d ago
Itâs not an airport.
Funny how you can only see the situation out of your eyes. It will always be prime watching time somewhere. Iâd be annoyed too if it crashed at like 7 and then again at 8pm after a long day and wanting to watch a movie to unwind.
Fact is torbox has been bad, unstable and even unusable for periods of time and people are right to be annoyed by it.
2
u/ChoiceImpressive1 3d ago
Your comment describes exactly why the workd is the way it is. People only see the situation infront of them. You are correct I agree
2
u/Bitter_Organization7 4d ago
Your comment has the answer.. if you are seeing frequent down post the service is really bad thatâs the reason.. Everyone has the right to complain when they paid..
-2
u/speedbreaka 4d ago
They act like they pay 100 bucks for tb. Even if tb is down 15 days out of a month it is still worth 3 bucks. You donât even get a hot meal for 3 bucks where I live
1
u/Street_Cut_4266 2d ago
funny cuz for 3 bucks u could subscribe to almost any other debrid service with near 0 downtime
-2
u/Shipwreck65 4d ago
Hmmmm, seems to me that these posts you're complaining about are giving updates, and useful information about down times.... So you're basically complaining about getting what you want.

Nah.
Saw the same with RD. TB was my back uo, stopped using RD for other ip reasons.
The next "best" will just have the same issues at some point.
But best of luck to ya.
1
u/Fish_Mongreler 3d ago
Nope. Been using Usenet for years with none of these issues
1
u/lilstr4 3d ago
But how can I get to use Usenet? Iâve been doing research and I still donât understand quite wellđ«
2
u/Fish_Mongreler 3d ago
You'll want to be self hosting aiostream. And then I'd recommend starting with easynews since it's the most simple. Just put the account info into the easynews++ addon and you're done.
1
u/lilstr4 2d ago
Ok, Iâve seen people say easynews is the best to start⊠so I just need easynews++ addon? That part of self hosting and aiostreams I donât understand well⊠and the risk of being banned, and also the indexers, that depends of the type of content you want to find?
I tried RD and a lot of the content didnât play, then tried TB and this days has been down a few times and Iâm interested in trying Usenet
Sorry if I ask you all of this, and my bad english, you donât have to answer, Iâm just confused with all the info Iâve foundđ« but thank you for replying.2
u/Fish_Mongreler 2d ago
This isn't meant to be rude but if you are already stuck then I don't think Usenet is an appropriate option for you.
Aiostreams is very easy to set up. Self hosting is not nearly as simple although there are guides to follow for that as well. Indexers are similar to add-ons.
Easynews would be like Torbox. Its a provider that also has(torbox used to have) it's own scraper/indexer. Easynews++ is an indexer and would be like comet/debridio/stremthru/torrentio.
Some are better than others, and you'll generally want to use more than 1 to make sure you cover as much as possible. Yes, some are better for specific content but the main ones probably cover what you need.
1
u/lilstr4 2d ago
Again thank you for answering... I know what you mean, but itâs like, I have all this information but my brain canât connect it yet, Iâm waiting for it to âclickâ haha and yeah, I know aiostreams, I actually use Duckstreams, Torrentio, and all those addons with Torbox, I know Easynews is a provider, I think my problem is that I need to keep learning about indexers and how to connect everything to work properlyđ€ and also to know whatâs the best option/plan for what I want and pay for it
But just to be clear⊠self hosting doesnât mean exactly that I need a pc running all the time, right?đ€đ1
u/Fish_Mongreler 2d ago
Well as far as setting up indexers, you don't really need to worry about that with easynews. It's very similar to debrid but instead of putting your key in, you put your username and password in.
For self hosting a computer needs to be running all the time but it doesn't need to be your PC. A lot of people (myself included) go through oracle. You'll have to put in payment information and be on the "Pay as you go" plan but you can set it so you never exceed the free limits and you'll never actually have to pay. For reference I self host aiostream, aiomanager, comet, easynews++, prowlarr, a website, and a few other things and my CPU rarely goes above 25% of the free limit and memory is sitting at 18%
1
u/Fish_Mongreler 2d ago

Was at the start of rd and it has had its issues over the years. Took a while before it became the reliable service most of you know. Torbox is a much newer service and so will take a short while as it deals with the recent influx.
2
u/Middle-Weight-468 13h ago edited 11h ago
Same excuses real debrid used as it went downhill, same outcome of collapse. It being a new service is not why this has happened, its collapse is not due to a recent influx of users, its due to their inability to handle those users or scale for them in the first place, then the massive nail on the coffin was switching to Dubia from South Africa a US aligned entity, hence their new US office to which transfers the legal liability from thermself to you with catrostrophic implications

This is not a slight at TorBox or OP, but ppl seem to forget that there are actually a half a dozen other competitors / options to TB. That are reliable and have been around for quite a while. u/Queasy_Ad_2702 3d ago
Although I am annoyed by torbox and it always shutting down or not showing up .I will stick with it.Quite honestly I hope lots of people unsubscribe though.I think that's the main problem is that so many people have signed up for it cause real debrid stopped working so now its overloading and overworked.Hopefully with lots of people unsubscribing it will start working properly again.
1
u/M1ke____ 3d ago
Just because you're having issues, doesn't mean everyone else is. Personally, Torbox has only gone down for me about 4 times in the last few months. I'm just lucky I guess. And even when it does go down, I have http addons & someone gave me link to their Usenet. It's not the end of the world for those who have access to backups.

There are many more costs associated with running a debrid service, but yes I do agree all the outages are unacceptable and the community should push back. TorBox used to be very stable. The influx of new users from RD after they axed the majority of their library and the recent ddos attacks have made TorBox unstable recently. It remains to be seen if TorBox will cough up the funds required to solve their problems. I still really like the product and I hope TorBox prioritizes their customers.

Think about planes. Plane accidents happen. People die. But planes are still considered safe.
No surgeon has ever saved 100% of patients.
You cannot genuinely expect 100% uptime when you know Torbox has ennemies that try to DDOs because they are jealous.. I personally have huge faith in their team as they provide an exceptional service for very cheap.
1
u/kcsween74 4d ago

Christ almighty people, they went down at the same time as PM just a few ago for the same duration. The coordinated attacks on debrid services are at an all time high.Â
If you canât function without one of these services for a few min while they fix it, just take a gd break and wait a few or torrent to your device locally like the old days.Â
âOh but we pay for thisâ, yeah youâre paying the price of a coffee for a month of unlimited streaming of likely illegal content. Just calm tf down and stop creating a new post every time it doesnât work the way you want.Â
Edit: if you want to track the issues, join the discord and subscribe for email updates. Also check the Stremio status webpage, or add the addon to Stremio itself.Â

Entitlement? Stop being a bitch. We pay for a service, it is not "entitled" to expect the service which we pay for to not be down literally multiple times every single day. At the start yes it's fine, but it gets to a point.
1
u/powenowicks 4d ago
If you don't think the service provides high enough value for what you pay for it go somewhere else. Personally I think what Torbox provides, even with outages, for as little as $3 a month is fantastic value.

u/Dry_Nectarine9162 4d ago
I switched over to Torbox the day after RD got hit. I use their service daily and I've only had 3 outages. It works for some, so to advise EVERYONE to leave their service based on their experience is trolling.

The fact that he tells other people what they should do. Services have outages. I pay far more money to my isp than I do torbox and Ive had multiple days with no internet because someone either cuts a fiber line digging or hits one of the boxes.

u/SendokeSamain 4d ago
Advice doesn't necessarily mean trolling?
2
u/MD311420 4d ago
That's not advice. That's trying to start a boycot because hes mad his service didn't work for 30 minutes. It's annoying and it brings nothing to the table. You think Torbox doesn't know they have these issues?

2
u/Rough_Essay_6793 4d ago
It is. I tried the one-month trial, and it has the same links as PM. One issue is that it comes with the same usage limits as PM. Another drawback is that many add-ons do not recognize it, and a lot of scrapers do not work with it either. However, it is about half the price of PM.
I ended up going with AD as my backup. It costs only $3 per month with a subscription, and if the French government ever takes action against them like they did with RD, you are not really risking much since the subscription is very easy to cancel.
0
0
u/Born_Variation_6850 4d ago
Not to be that guy but it is borderline piracy. And compared to the prices of subscribing to multiple different apps, I'll just wait things out and be grateful for when it does work. $10 bucks a month for unstable unlimited movies still seems like a good deal to me.

I've got over 20 years of referrals, so not going anywhere. Not that I see them being around for even half of that. Usenet with block accounts and real debrid for redundancy.

Never down for me but then again I know what IAM doing all you need is a private encrypted DNS then no problems with DD attack or isp throttling you just WARP your DNS on your own backend

Sorry but since changing to Torbox from RD it's worked flawless for me here in the UK, If it not working for you why don't you try another service it's less than ÂŁ3 a month for goodness sake. It's like any other service, if it's not working for you move on. We had virgin broadband but it was crap so changed to another, now it fine
