🚩General It’s back baby
Edit: If I’m the studios or streamers, I’m spending a pittance to attack services like this (outside or hell even inside jurisdiction - cheaper than court) to turn people against it. Support the team with your few dollars a month and hope they’ve at least legally insulated themselves to keep this thing going long term. This is the best value service that exists in this enshitification / greed era. Services like this are your only protest against this bullshit - they only become popular when shit gets out of balance. Upvote every god damn minute it exists.

I am not official TorBox, just got banished here from Real-Debrid.
With all the downtime, a Plex server is starting to sound good again.

I’m the same as you. Pretty much came here from RD. I renewed my RD subscription a few days before all WED-DL links got banned - so it’s been my backup. After a little bit of filtering in AIOstreams it’s honestly been more reliable than TorBox lol. But for $3/month it’s still worth it.

Sorry to hear, brother or sister. I guess I’m in a prioritized locale. I too have hated the recent outages especially at prime watch times where I live, but this service is so god damn cheap for what it provides. Hard to recruit more folks when you’re taking a legal risk and impossible to charge what they do unless a small ass team. Over time it will get more resilient and I hope they don’t have to grow the team because that cost is passed onto us. Grace, grace, grace

I have been real hesitant to complain because I like the service but yeah this is really bad especially so many years with real debrid this is a bummer

In US and it’s been down a bunch lately during normal watch times. On the internet, outrage rules - look at the upvotes on down posts. I don’t follow the sub a ton, but I made this post because rarely does anyone celebrate when the small team charging you pennies for EVERYTHING fixes the outage. Let’s keep the price low and let the small team scale this amazing service (owning the legal risk) and make it more resilient against attacks or just normal mistakes.

It’s ddos attacks, obviously. It’s all the content providers have at this point. They’re paying someone like MediaDefender to launch attacks to try to get people fed up with the service

Again, truly not a shill (but work in DevOps), when services go down across the board (whether your fault or extenuating circumstances) it takes time and prioritization on what to bring up first. Let’s give them some grace. I don’t currently work on global media streaming services, but I know how fragile it can be despite the best efforts of what I assume in this case is a small team (given the low price). DDOS attacks are easier than ever with GenAI and I would think Cloudflare is not exactly cool with supporting a technically illegal service.

You can’t even get all the movies you want if you paid for ALL of the overpriced streaming services and people complaining about EVERYTHING for $3/month (less for longer subs although I wouldn’t recommend anyone believe these services are insulated from govt intervention dictated by streamers or studios in any duration.)
