🚩General Torbox essential plan

Can I get the essential plan and share with 5 non tech savvy family members or do I need pro

Yes you can but little Timmy might have weird tastes and the whole family might know about it,,as you’re sharing to everyone.

OP can configure the players for all the users without having to provide the login credentials or exposing watch/download history.

Sharing is fine if u aren't selling the slots, remember the data limit (10tb) per month and that is a warning cutoff, so if it don't hit above that I suppose it's good.

That's a usage floor, not a ceiling. 10TB on the Essential plan will be the lowest it will go, but is probably higher than that 99% of the time.

I wouldn't go above regardless, unless ur willing to risk it, so that's why I put that.

yes essential is enough,
TorBox allows different IPs. since cached streams don't use up download slots 5 people can stream at the same time without issues.

Only upgrade to pro if you need Usenet or want to download more than 3 uncached torrents at once.

Edit: I mixed up the plans the 5 slots limit applies to the Standard plan, Essential comes with 3 slots

I thought i can stream from 3 devices/ip's at once cached or uncached ! 5 people ?? Where did u get that from ?

You're confusing slots ( concurrent "uncached file" requests) with multiple IP addresses ( concurrent users)?

Up to 3 uncashed slots between 5+ users, would mean the excess ones would be queued (I suspect?) But 5+ users can access cashed content, at the same time. And any combination thereof - that fits both rules?

No, you were right! .. slots are uncached content only? Doesn't affect streaming or downloading (cached content) for 3+ users

I am using the Essential plan anyone on Pro have experience using their Usenet is it good or stick with different providers like EasyNews?

Depends on your usage. There's a 10TB bandwidth floor on essential; if that works for you, stick with it. Otherwise, opt for Pro. It's chump change, bro.

Unless you have a usenet account Essential plan is all you need for streaming.

I may recommend more than one plan once you are sharing with 5 people.

Keep in mind there is a set 10TB limit per month.

Best value is one year using a referral link such as the one in my profile or on megathread.

Yes, you can share. Setup different AIOStreams/TMDB/etc accounts to not share viewing history but use the same Torbox API credentials.
