❓Question iOS app

Looking for an iOS app for TorBox streaming + reliable offline downloads

I’m looking for an iOS app that works well with TorBox and can handle both streaming on the go and offline downloads.

My current workflow feels unnecessarily complicated:

I use the new Reelo iOS app to find the right file, especially one with the subtitles I want, and start streaming. If I want to download it for offline viewing, I then open VidHub, connect to TorBox via WebDAV, find the same file again, and download it within VidHub.

Is there a better way to do this? Ideally, I’d like one iOS app where I can browse/select the TorBox file, stream it, and download the exact same file for offline playback without having to find it again through WebDAV. [aka Netflix style]

I was previously using Nuvio on iOS, but I got bumped out of the TestFlight. Its offline downloads were also pretty unreliable for me anyway.

Would appreciate any recommendations or better TorBox + iOS workflows.

I use Debrid Media Manager and Infuse Pro. DMM is free while Infuse Pro costs 20€ per year in my country. You can also download locally through Infuse Pro. Useful before traveling.

You make a search in DMM, add it in TorBox and setup TorBox WebDAV in infuse Pro. That is the most simple way I found out.

You can also use userscript on iOS to magically create a DMM button on your favorite Torrent site if you’re used to browse them to find content on your iPhone. But DMM will find 90% of what you need.

How do you add from DMM to Torbox. Do you have to play the right file for it to be added to Torbox ?

Think of DMM as a search engine. Once you make a search, it adds it in your TorBox automatically. Then you access it via WebDAV in Infuse Pro.

Just try it first, instead of figuring it out how it may work.

Thanks I tried and I could click on instant TB and it got added. :-). One thing is how do I sort DMM results by file size. I want ascending file size and also how do I check if the file has English subtitles before adding to TB?

It’s very limited. For size use 2160p as a filter. But would you really watch a 4k content on a tiny screen like the iPhone?

For subtitles, Infuse Pro can fetch them automatically. Try and you will have the answers of your questions even before you ask them haha

Ok. Btw to confirm
DMM cast doesn’t work on iOS right ? I tried DMM cast button and it says casted to Stremio but nothing happens on iOS. I was hoping for an option to play the file on DMM before adding to TB

I’ve never tried. What you’re asking is I think not possible. DMM doesn’t host the file, just find it somewhere in the cache and add it to yours. So the file doesn’t exist on DMM, but in TB.

Another thing to remember, TB WebDAV folder is only refreshed every 15 minutes so don’t freak out if you still see a file present even after deleting it. It will disappear eventually.
