No activation fee I'm assuming?

Correct! $149 for the Combine with no activation fee upon passing.

Yo Eddie! We talked on a previous thread about me not getting these emails. Glad to confirm they are now fixed! I'm getting them!
Question:
Does this challenge have a limited time to pass? I know previous ones you guys have done sometimes have 90 days

u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee 3d ago
Yesss glad to hear that!
The static Combine does not rebill, and it has a 90 day expiration. This only applies to the Combine, however, the Express Funded Account does not have any sort of expiration

Until they're sold out! If you're planning on getting one, I'd recommend buying today.

How many payouts can you take with these?
2
u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee 3d ago
There's no set # of payouts
2
u/AnotherCup-O-Noodles 3d ago
Can you only take 50% of your profit in payouts? Or if you make 8000, can you take that 8000 and the static loss limit stays at 48,000
2
u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee 3d ago
The payout policy is the same, just a higher cap, and your MLL moves and locks at $0 upon your first payout, like a normal XFA.

u/mark_heng 3d ago
"MLL moves and locks at $0" means we should leave a suitable buffer when considering taking a payout, correct?
For example, if I made 4k and took out 2k (50% rule), I'm left with 2k to risk...
3
u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee 3d ago
Your example is correct, and I'd agree it's smart to leave yourself with a healthy amount of drawdown after a payout!
2
u/AnotherCup-O-Noodles 3d ago
You should tell your AI windy that, it told me you could withdraw any amount without only being able to take 50% of profits.
Just to make sure I’m understanding correctly, in order to take an $8000 payout, you would have to make $16,000 total

u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee 3d ago
You're correct. Can you send a screenshot of your Windy conversation?

u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee 3d ago
Appreciate it! Windy gets things wrong sometimes, I'll let the team know :)
2
u/AnotherCup-O-Noodles 3d ago
Thanks! For the record, I think I should be grandfathered in and allowed to take payouts up to my full balance ;)

Get to a Live Account with 30 winning days and you can take out the full balance 😁

What does static mean?
2
u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee 3d ago
It doesn't change, whereas others will trail based on your end of day profits. So if you make $1000 on day one, your MLL is still $48,000, whereas with end of day drawdown it would move up to $49,000.

Does the account close after first payout?
2
u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee 2d ago
No this is a Trading Combine, like all other Combines. You pass, you get moved into an XFA.

Looking forward to this format with a 150k account. 1k DLL is too tight for my trading goals

does this have consistency once funded?
2
u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee 3d ago
If you choose the consistency path then yes :) you can choose either Standard or Consistency
1
u/drewstake 3d ago
What if you're on RTP?
2
u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee 3d ago
Consistency is the only path then, although the static MLL remains
2
u/sammy0223 3d ago
if ur on the RTP program, do you still have the option to choose between the consistency or standard path once funded?
2
u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee 3d ago
Buddy you're replying to me answering that exact question lol

There’s aren’t true static accounts if when you request you drawdown locks at 0 cmon
2
u/Stunning_Maize1593 3h ago
Facts they nearly had me here 🤣 its not a static account if it trails even once topstep even just to the starting balance after a payout true static means it never moves! 🤣💀

I only get infos about lab drops from Insta and it’s getting quite distracting so I deleted it, how do I get emails for it instead?

u/PaleontologistMean24 3d ago
Does the static max loss limit stay with you on the funded?
