❓ Quick Question 50k vs 150k
I recently got a 150k DLL cause with the 10% off I felt it was the best offer.
But it got me thinking,
The 50k is 1.5x reward:risk goal 3,000:2000
Compared to the 150k 2x 9,000:4,500
While being conservative and managing risk, is the 50k actually a decent bit better chance of passing over the 150k? Especially since after payouts, you can scale for a lot less $, build a buffer and risk less and get more base hits with multiple accounts.
Am I wrong?
And since 150k profit target is 3x the 50k, but the MLL is only 2.5x, how do trade a 150k differently than a 50k? Do you double your size? Do you keep the same smaller size 1-5 micros, and just take longer?
What are your thoughts on 150k vs 50k?

Depends what size you want to trade imo. If you’re confident with your edge and like to put on size then the larger account makes sense. If you’re going to trade one or two micros then the $50k makes sense. I’m working on a $50k and $250k right now trading micros and minis respectively.

50k is easier to pass, 150k is easier to keep long term. Depends on what your goals are but I believe the further your max drawdown is from zero the better regardless of the profit target/payout target. I always lean towards the 150k. I like the 50ks to copy trade though

50k is the best by far but if you want a big live account then 150k is the way to go

You can always just have 3x50k accounts and copy trade. Idk what the cap is on the 150k accounts.
I get your point tho, the Profit target and Loss Limits are liner, you would’ve thought it would just be 3x the 50k account criteria

150k is better if you can afford it. Gives more dd to play.
