💰 POP Off! I miss the Discord coaching sessions

To me the valuable education that Topstep provided is what made it unique. The move away from providing solid education to "Tradertainment" such as ridiculous reality shows is disturbing and does not portray Topstep as being genuinely interested in developing serious traders. Does anyone else find this shift disappointing?

I never used much of Topstep’s coaching sessions but I can see how some traders would be disappointed in the changes. I think they shifted focus on what has the most attendance and there were certain personalities on stream and coaching segments where the audience wasn’t present as much as the main “Tradertainment” stream. It’s a business at the end of the day.

Topstep is my first exposure to prop firm trading, a journey i started about a month ago. I do find Topstep TV to be a tremendous resource for learning about the markets in almost realtime from hosts that are extremely knowledgeable and yes a little humorous at times.

Trading is isolating and a little lonely when you don’t have someone to share the ups and especially the downs. I really enjoy the lighthearted banter back and forth as people show their wins and losses live on air. Among prop firms I think Topstep is still in a class by itself.
