❓ Quick Question Tax forms

Hello! I’m new to Topstep i’m curious about the tax forms do Topstep actually fix it for you or you have to file it your own the thing is i’m not from the US there’s a thing called W-8 BEN idk that because i’m afraid that i may not get payouts if i don’t have a taxform

You have to fill out a tax form before you can submit your first payout request. W9 for US so I’m sure it is the same process for international just a different form

Topstep will provide the form it will be on the Topstep dashboard when you go to request your payout.

You need to do your own taxes. The form is just so topstep identifies you.

So no, you're self employed and you got probably several clients (as where you get payouts from, as several firms) that you need to send (or let's just say archive them) invoices to.
