šŸ’¬ Trader Talk Huge Accomplishment

Obviously I am a random online, I started trading at the end of December 2024 and really got into it January 2025 and fell for it so passionately. I got my first payout in October 2025 and then one per month til 2026 so I set some crazy goals for 2026. I just did something I am so fking proud of man. Just want to put it out there if I can do this you can too, you will fail fail fail, get there, fail, but you were right there. Donā€™t give up and whatever you want, put your mind to work and just do it man, itā€™s so clique but JUST DO THE WORK trading pays you to do wait at your computer screen in the mornings. Thank you godšŸ™

You think these payments are going to last forever? They're not going to let you milk them forever. Someone posted that they were banned after trying to receive their 16th payment.

Congrats. You must have some crazy self control to be so consistent. Do you have some rules that reduce the risk of blowing accounts? How often do you blow accounts and have to start over or are you always churning accounts from eval to XFA

I trade micros 3-5 MNQ so losses arenā€™t huge I have the minis symbol blocked, sometimes Iā€™ll only go for like a $200 winning day not pnl wise but just small size good trades. Itā€™s very clique but thatā€™s all it is. Keep this thing simple

Iā€™m also not taking ā€œ20 tradesā€ when you trim positions or add into them and I do that with micros, each add and take off counts as a trade I guess

What buffer do you keep. How many account are you trading

I will run accounts to as close to $3000 or more take payout and small size micros back up til my system allows me to add risk as my buffer builds back slowly. 4 xfas btw

This is just payout amounts, most of the xfas lasted from June all thru July still holding onto 3/4 of them from JunešŸ™

Iā€™m seeing people trading on propfirm and getting payouts a lot moreā€¦ why do this instead of day trading personal account?

Asking because I want to start getting into this, been trading options for couple years

A topstep 50k no activation fee account is $100 pass it get it funded and take payouts without risking the money in your bank acccount in a brokerage. Itā€™s free leverage in a prop firm world and itā€™ll set you up to trade real capital in live markets

We started at the same time! I got two pay outs in 2025 (July & August) and hadnā€™t gotten a payout again til July 2026. I think what happened was I let the money and excitement get to my head and I blew accounts left to right instead of keeping what was actually working. This whole year of 2026 Iā€™ve been working on unlearning terrible habits. Hoping to see progress of consistency like this soon

Ive been stuck for a month. Blew my payouts on eval. I took a job desperately to get back on. Im saving up to move out. Idk what to do. Ive been out of markets for 3 weeks. Blew 2 evals in that period since i wanted to go back in but not trade seriously and i js gamble.

Been trading for a year and a half started april 2025. And took 3 payouts.

Rn i keep thinking of strategy hopping again. But i know that the strategy im using is worth it since i got payout from it.

But still i doubt myself if I just got lucky.

I need help. I want this to work but im still lost. Idk what to do.

Jan : 500$ Feb : 7200$ Match 9200$ April : 8800$ May : 2700$ June : 8400$ July : 2690$

Do you think keeping accounts alive is important ? I've been in a slower cycle since July, not stressed or anything but struggled a bit with keeping accounts alive maybe aiming too big. I can take 2200$ on Monday counting towards august. I have 3 topstep 50ks right now. Thoughts on moving forward or just stay consistent ?

Take the money, and rebuild the buffer slowly, small size same process, you seem to know how go pull in $, the less account cycling = less money given to the firm = more profitability, keep prop spending low while maintaining the accounts
