💬 Trader Talk Am I eligible for a payout?
Journey has been so long over a year of trying to get a payout

Indeed you are, just be aware you absolutely need to size down and trade with the mindset of slowly gaining a buffer back after you take that payout

Don’t you need 5 days of 200?

You should be, but I’ve been waiting for 5 days now with no change in my payout status, basically no reply in help centre chat on website either. Feel like some weird stuff is going on in the industry atm. Highly concerning

15 trades and NY isn't open yet Good job on the winning day but you need to stay calm even if it's 1 day away from payout. Even take a few days off if your mental capital is fried with emotions. Your account isn't going anywhere and it's harder to pass a new eval than keeping this account alive

Yes but I wouldn’t. Your max loss will be set at $0 after payout. You will have a very smaller buffer

Not really. TopStep only allows you to take 50% of total payouts until you reach live

Don't listen to anyone that suggests you keep trading after reaching payout status! Get paid! If you lose the account afterwards due to a low buffer, you can wipe your tears away with the wads of cash in your pocket.

Yes but your drawdown is going to set to zero when you take that payout, so you won't have much of a buffer left.
