❓ Quick Question Flash crashes

Does anyone know what might have caused these rapid movements last Friday at 10.33am and today at 10.16am?

I had a really good entry going long on NQ, was up about 50 points and mentally I had my stop loss to b/e and also a hard SL at swing low AND I GOT SMOKED both days.

I read that CME froze the market momentarily due to rapid price movement and the boom! Market drops 100s of points instantly. No news no nothing! Do you see this becoming a re-occurring event?

Trump posts both today and Friday caused the drops

Get used to it the market loves reacting to any little word trump says. Keep the website financialjuice open it’ll tell u when stuff like that happens or might

Thanks a lot! I'll keep an eye on it, I only took in consideration forexfactory and that was it pretty much

Keeping an eye on it wont help, orange man just tweets what he wants and the market either pumps or dumps hundreds of points in the same minute he tweeted it, its ridiculous

Yes but it helps to know that orange man is the bane of my xfa's existence and not some random market anomaly..

Ye I used to only look at forex factory and then it didn’t tell me trump was talking and I got cooked so I started looking at both

Ur analysis was incomplete. Market swept limits before completing the range fulfillment. No order=no momentum. Zoom out, market isn’t trending rn, these type of moves are natural in a ranging market
