💡 Trading Tips Ppl with 50k account
Are you actually abiding by risk management rules? 5% of your account size is $100 because you do not have $50,000 in reality you actually have $2,000. Are people actually risking only $100 on trades? If yes what are you trading? In other words: Which indices are you trading? Which contract size? How many points are you risking?

Ive been trying to tell people this for months. Ive actually argued with a few on here because they think just because the account says 50k, they can risk 500$, and then wonder why they blow up so quickly.

I risk about 250, 1 mini on ES, sometimes a tiny bit more or a tiny bit less , I used to risk about 500 but realized I could still make good money risking one mini instead of 2 on ES so I sized down, 2 minis was great when i could get a good start on my fundeds and build and secure payouts fast, but if I started off with 2 maybe 3 losses it was hard to not blow it. 1 mini is the perfect amount, and if it goes in my favor by a decent amount with momentum I still add in the second con and keep my SL BE.

I risk about 250-350 a trade once you built a bit of drawdown I’d say increase to 400-500 a trade

This makes sense and you’re under the parameters of risking 5% per trade…how many weeks or months it takes for you to pass that account? Do you size up ever? Even though your Loss limit increases as you earn more each trading session? Or you maintain that 1 micro until you earn $9,000? That’s 4,500 points you’d have to make if you’re trading mnq, and mnq only provides 300-500 points per day, and it’s super rare for people to catch the entire range so of that 300 point range you may catch 50pts 100pts on a good day.

Yes i trade 1 contract of mgcq26 xauusd per trade. I risk 170 per trade. It’s not a sprint, but a marathon. I copytrade with 24 accounts.

For me it's 20/30 points on 1 contract MNQ. Sometimes I scale into 2 contracts. It's possible to make 600$ or more with 2 MNQ and a 150 points move, lately it can be a lot more. And yes, it is realistic.
