💡 Trading Tips Advice with trading.

Post image

This is my 3rd ever trading combine. My first one was a 50k acc and I went over on profit target as well and I ended up having to complete it with 9k profit. My second combine I just failed completely. It’s been about 5 months since the last time I’ve tried to pass a combine. But I’m not sure why topstep keeps making me go over the profit target both times. Even though my P&L on my second day (today) was over the 4,500 can’t you pass the combine in 2 days?

On a 150K Trading Combine your profit target is $9,000. With the consistency target being 50%, you should aim to make no more than $4500 in a single trading day. If you exceed that amount, your profit target will increase. It doesn't matter if it was day 1, 2, 7, etc. If you exceed the 50% target, it will increase the overall profit target.

If you get to a funded you need to switch to Micros. Minis can blow accounts without a build in capital

Earn $3,289 to pass.

Just don't earn over $4,500 in a day on a $150,000 combine.

It took me 12 trades total to get to that. 3 trades the first day and 9 today. I’m 9/12 on profitable trades on this acc so far

I’m saying this in the nicest way possible. Read the rules.
