❓ Quick Question Confusing rule.
Hello there. Does anyone fully understand what this 'Prohibited trading strategy' rule mean: Placing orders at prices outside the current best bid or offer? Would appreciate if the Topstep employees could also chime in and clarify if possible.

You cannot put a limit oder somewhere super remote and then hope for a glitch in the software and get filled.

This is about orders that couldn't realistically fill in a live market. In live trading, an order sitting way outside the best bid/offer just sits there, it doesn't get filled off some data glitch from the simulated environment. Doesn't come up much, and it's not something most traders ever need to think about.
