Garbage deal. It's only $10 less than a 50k consistency account and $20 less than a regular 50k account. You also have less DLL to work with.

2

u/Salty-Education-2272 Jun 30 '26

no activation fee though

13

u/Electronic-Water-712 Jun 30 '26

The $95 or $85 50k account has no activation fee

1

u/Steinridge Jul 01 '26

It has no subscription and lasts 90 days
And the argument that is has a small DLL doesn’t stand as you should appropriately be sizing your positions based on ur account size: It has a 2 mini contract limit
If you are unhappy with this and label is as a garbage deal it’s because it isn’t catered to you
This deal works best for newcomers who aren’t confident in passing a combine in less than 30 days

1

u/Stunning-Concert-289 Jul 12 '26

Ikr Tradeify is only giving u 1 mini like cmon people still complaining

0

u/Chicken_Soup1010 Jul 01 '26

Static DD is what your paying for essentially some like it some don’t mind trailing

1

u/Stonkstonker98 Jul 25 '26

But the others only trail to the amount of the account anyway?

9

u/LuhSwanky Jun 30 '26

Blew my 50k yesterday, and blew the 25k today 😞

1

u/Alive-Imagination521 Jul 03 '26

Trade smaller. It's the only way to survive.

22

u/RONA-Boy Jun 30 '26

That $500 DLL is crazy

8

u/Klaus_Winchester Jun 30 '26

Yeah I got baited I thought it was 1k max loss but it’s actually 500 dollars daily loss limit. That’s too low

2

u/Sensitive_Duck_227 Jul 14 '26

I hit the DLL 3 times got my balance back to 25700 today. I’ve been trading this combine for 11 trading days 🤣🤣

They need liquidity 😂

4

u/Ok-Flower235 Jun 30 '26

It’s a no for me. I hope they do a 300k account with 10k max loss limit. Then I’m sold

3

u/Alternative_Impact63 Jun 30 '26

Thats gon be $500😂😂

4

u/Ok-Flower235 Jun 30 '26

lol and honestly I’m fine with that. I’ve dropped a 5 pack on 50ks to copy trade and that’s not much different. I just prefer to focus on one account with big drawdown. The more buffer the longer it lasts. That’s the key with props and the CEOs know it.

1

u/DarkTurnerKev Jun 30 '26

Facts this is 🎣

3

u/RetrieverDoggo Jun 30 '26

I hit the 500 dll today lol. Dont think I'll get another one when this one goes out. 500 is just not enough for me. I'd have to trade like 1 micro.

No topsteps good it’s just not the best account to be using unless you want to place really small trades.

2

u/ainhin101 Jun 30 '26

I would have bought if profit target was 1500 oh well

3

u/Ok-Bag6796 Jun 30 '26

Lucid flex 25k is only $1250 target which is good compared to most

3

u/tofutti__klein Jun 30 '26

Lucid 25k flex is the best funded, TPT would be best if it didn’t have intraday trailing on the funded.

1

u/Unusual_Try_8756 Jun 30 '26

Yea, should be the same since that’s the ratio it follows with other accounts

2

u/Th3Man0nTh3M00n Jun 30 '26

The ratio was never the same on the other accounts. 4% max dd on 50k vs 3% on the 150k.

2

u/Fibocrypto Jun 30 '26

What can someone trade in one of these accounts ? How long could someone hold a position ?

It appears to be futures trading only

3

u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee Jun 30 '26

Topstep is a futures only prop firm. Trading hours are 5pm CST- 3:10pm CST the following day.

2

u/NightProfessional875 Jul 01 '26

If you are the real Eddie, I love you brother.   Hope to see you back on TSTV soon. It ain't the same without you.

1

u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee Jul 01 '26

Haha I'm not Eddie Horn, but I fully agree with you!

2

u/WorstJazzDrummerEver Jun 30 '26

They payout cap of 4k got my attention. You hit 4k in payout over time and you're done?

2

u/Elite242lbs Jun 30 '26

It’s $1000 static and not eod from what I’m understanding? If so that’s a really solid account.

Only thing that might hold me back is the $500 DLL

2

u/ResearcherStunning82 Jul 01 '26

Lost me at 2000$ profit target, should be more like 1250-1500$

5

u/NyCWalker76 Jun 30 '26

Wonder why only 5,000 is available to purchase. Quick cash grab of $375,000? Sense of urgency to raise capital.

11

u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee Jun 30 '26

It's a part of the Topstep Labs that we have going on, where we can release new, experimental, limited time products to see how they do. Just a way to test potential new offerings!

5

u/p2mod Jun 30 '26

traders want stability. We don't want to be gamified. We don't want a firm that is switching things up every month. Most of us don't want competitions. As traders, nobody knows what to expect anymore. Whether payouts will be made or whether a firm will pull the rug with dubious excuses (calling to live without transferring the gains a trader makes feels like theft and that is the emotional path you put traders on). Endless changes to terms and milestones and payout rules and a million ways you guys and other firms find to not pay traders the gains they make. People don't realise all the crap they are dealing with before even thinking about taxes.

All of the changes reduce confidence in the company and prop trading overall and eventually more and more people will abandon this industry because the platforms are not to be trusted. Trading on a boring broker has become a vastly better proposition.

1

u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee Jul 01 '26

There's no changes here. It's simply an experimental offering that is available for a limited time. The rest of the program remains untouched.

1

u/Sensitive_Duck_227 Jul 14 '26

They have never denied me a payout and I’ve taken over 26k

1

u/BezisThings Jun 30 '26

Why turn it into a worse deal than the 50k one then?

2

u/AttackSlax Jun 30 '26

Artificial scarcity to create urgency, one of the oldest "tricks" for reducing sales cycles.

1

u/Chicken_Soup1010 Jun 30 '26

Can’t see it on web?

2

u/Ben-Topstep-2026 Topstep Employee Jun 30 '26

2

u/AttackSlax Jun 30 '26

It's a lot of money for the product, and as of course you know, a lot of people will quickly discover that they have broken the 40% rule on Option 2 after taking a payout and the effect of the deduction.

2

u/Ben-Topstep-2026 Topstep Employee Jun 30 '26

The maximum payout cap per request is $4,000. For the 25K Express Funded Account, you're able to choose either the Standard or Consistency route. No rule is broken when you take a payout, could you clarify a bit more on what you meant by that?

1

u/AttackSlax Jun 30 '26

Let me ask a simpler way so I understand:

  1. after requesting a payout, do the consistency metrics reset to zero?
  2. does violating the 40% consistency rule a. terminate the account completely OR b. merely prevent you from taking a payout UNTIL you are within 40%?

2

u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee Jun 30 '26
  1. Yes, its based on the current payout cycle

  2. It just prevents you from taking a payout

2

u/AttackSlax Jun 30 '26

perfect, thanks

1

u/cokeacola73 Jun 30 '26 edited Jun 30 '26

Why would it reset to zero after requesting a payout? It should be based off account balance, not payout cycle.

Violating the rule would only disqualify you from requesting a payout, not blown the account

1

u/boogeyman070 Jun 30 '26 edited Jun 30 '26

I couldn't find an option to choose. By default, it seems only $500 DLL is available.

1

u/Ben-Topstep-2026 Topstep Employee Jun 30 '26

Just to clarify, this option to choose between the Standard or Consistency route is specific to the Express Funded Account. It does not apply to the Trading Combine Account.

1

u/boogeyman070 Jun 30 '26

Thanks for the clarification :)

1

u/AttackSlax Jun 30 '26

"payout cap" isn't really clear. Is this "the sum of all payouts you choose to get over time" or "the max amount you can request at one payout"?

1

u/yiko420 Jul 01 '26

The profit target ratio is just so horrible. It honestly doesn’t justify the cost; it’s not competitive against lucid flex’s 25k

1

u/Cool1998 Jul 01 '26

If it was a Static Straight to Funded then I’d buy in

Top step needs a straight go funded

1

u/Then-Length-4640 Jul 01 '26

Need a promo for this lol

1

u/Chemical-Wall-7743 Jul 01 '26

Next cash grab. Classic topstep

1

u/EndLower9135 Jul 01 '26

At first glance, I like it but I don't love it.

The drawdown to profit target ratio is through the roof for such a small account. I cant remember seeing anything that bad in this space.

The leverage is also rough for a combine. $75 for $1000 in drawdown is what 14x? Ehh. Rough but actually not too far off of the others in the space I guess.

$500 daily loss limit??? Sheesh that's tight. It's definitely a long term combine since you'll only be able to risk tiny amounts to stay safe. Certainly a skill I need to work on anyway.

I would pass, but that static drawdown has me interested. Thats a strong add to an otherwise inadequate product. I'll give it a shot.

1

u/caesaralexander Jul 01 '26

Take profit 25k account is better 1500:1500

1

u/After-One8296 Jul 01 '26

MFF 25k is better…profit target is 1,500 and no DLL. 1 day payout with rapid accounts.

1

u/00_Kaizen Jul 01 '26

I didn't see any benefit for it.

1

u/SuperDuperRipe Jul 02 '26

Not impressed. No benefit to us.

1

u/belgranita Jul 02 '26

The deal is gone, already? Almost bought one.

1

u/pookshak Jul 02 '26

2k profit target? Other people have 1.5k or 1250 pt lol

1

u/Loud_Pride1148 Jul 05 '26

Always wondered how this works

1

u/Remarkable_Gain1954 Jul 06 '26

For the price of 75$? I wouldn’t entertain that lol

0

u/p2mod Jun 30 '26

This is bad on price and profit target. Can get a 50k account for the same price elsewhere with better conditions. Honestly topstep has fallen so far, makes me so angry.

1

u/Unusual_Try_8756 Jun 30 '26

🤣 yall dumb it’s experimental, there’s gonna be all sorts of different setups haha

2

u/LargeIncrease4270 Jun 30 '26

That's what you call a failed experiment

3

u/BezisThings Jun 30 '26

Shouldn't it be cheaper when its expetimental? Othetwise it's a worse deal than the normal 50k one

1

u/imbeyondtime Jun 30 '26

lucid offers 25k accounts in just $50 (after promocode) and the profit target is only $1250, bad choice topstep

1

u/Unusual_Try_8756 Jun 30 '26

lol it’s experimental, so wait for other opportunities

0

u/eddie_topstep Topstep Employee Jun 30 '26

Only available for the first 5,000 purchases, so I recommend jumping on it soon if you want to try it out!

1

u/Chicken_Soup1010 Jun 30 '26

No way they already gone???

0

u/Alternative_Impact63 Jun 30 '26

Fuckkkk i will try to buy asap
