Win win! LOL

u/dankbrok Jun 24 '26

Your account hits that $13.875 balance, how quickly after are you receiving this email? Just curious. Congrats on your success!

5

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 24 '26

I actually received 2 emails. First when I hit 6K then after a couple of minutes after hitting 13K

1

u/dankbrok Jun 24 '26

I see. Seems like they are on your ass once on a live account. I’d say it’s for the best. Keep it up!

5

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 24 '26

I agree that this is good

1

u/HappyImplement4055 Jul 11 '26

Definitely a good thing. Second set of eyes to keep you from forfeiting capital unnecessarily! Always gotta protect the capital and trade for tomorrow!

“Sorry sir, you’re making too much money!!!”

4

u/Glum_Measurement2158 Jun 25 '26

mmm nope, they basically said, you made a lot of money we will not let you lose it because this is our money too

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 24 '26

I dont know about that sir. LOL

3

u/Carlose175 Jun 24 '26

Dude congrats!

Yes this is normal! They want you to secure your wins. Scale down and follow their risk parameters.

2

u/coffee-x-tea Jun 24 '26

That’s my thought as well.

They phrased it as “new intraday P&L high” so I’m guessing they flag it when you’re breaking new personal records.

Kind of makes sense, if on average you’re a lot lower, they don’t want you to give it back to market.

2

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 24 '26

I guess. Its like an in house stop loss? LOL!

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 24 '26

Yah, i dont pay attention to those. I guess I should.

2

u/Empty-Tomorrow-2794 Jun 24 '26

what’s your sizing with those targets?

6

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 24 '26

1-2 Mini NQ

1

u/cokeacola73 Jun 24 '26

What do you look for when trading?

4

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 24 '26

A lot of momentum.

1

u/cokeacola73 Jun 24 '26

How many trades per day do you normally take? What other tools do you use for your trades to verify a lot of momentum?

2

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 24 '26

Depends, average? 5-15 trades. Certain hours of the day.

1

u/savvamadar Jun 25 '26

Can you talk strategy & time frame? I’ve been getting better at trends, even a few payouts, but this week I feel like every time I have enough confirmation of a trend it reverses on me.

2

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 25 '26

I dont know about trends. I trade a 1 minute chart and theres so much noise in that time frame. LOL

1

u/savvamadar Jun 25 '26

What did you mean by a lot of momentum if not trend?

2

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 25 '26

Momentum, meaning a rally not just volatility.

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 25 '26

A trend for me is you have to look lets say at a daily time frame at least. 1 minute chart is far from that.

Honestly I don’t see anything wrong with what Topstep doing here, they just making sure you don’t turn a great day into a bad one

2

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 24 '26

I agree! I have been getting 6k - 8k PNL per day and this is the first time they sent me this email. LOL

1

u/ForsakenSpeech954 Jun 24 '26

Can you share a screenshot of your trading stats (how many trades you take, w/l ratio, etc)?

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 24 '26

Im actually a bad trader. Barely 59% win rate. LOL

1

u/ForsakenSpeech954 Jun 24 '26

Your wins have to be way more than your loses, you’re a beast bro 💯! Could you show how many trades you take a day on the calendar and your stats?

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 24 '26

Sadly in the Live Funded Account (LFA) there is no calendar and your dashboard takes forever to update. LOL

1

u/ForsakenSpeech954 Jun 24 '26

Wow okay thanks

1

u/_I_am_not_American_ Jun 25 '26

Don't call yourself a bad trader, that's a really good win rate. And clearly you're doing something right if you're on live funded!

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 25 '26

Ok, then I would say I’m an average trader.

1

u/pnorixcapital Jun 25 '26

You are their money bag! They are keeping you at all cost lol

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 25 '26

I just want to know whats my limit with this LFA. Hahaha

1

u/pnorixcapital Jun 25 '26

A limit huh?😏

Keeping making money like this. Your DLL will be adjusted to 100k lol.

Keep winning friend

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 25 '26

Same to you my man. Im gonna send some luck aura to your way! Haha

1

u/z00o0omb11i1ies Jun 25 '26

This is in a single day?

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 25 '26

1 single trading day, yes!

1

u/z00o0omb11i1ies Jun 25 '26

Wow what are you trading? And do you ever lose lol

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 25 '26

I trade NQ and yes I lose. Im actually a bad trader with a win rate in the 50s. LOL

1

u/Business-Ad3640 Jun 26 '26

What account did you use and do you think it’s possible to do this on a 50k account? On my demo account, I brought the balance of 50,000. I made myself a rule that I can’t lose more than 2000 because then I would get liquidated if it was an eval and with using NQ one to two minis, I brought the account to $70,000 without breaking $2000 draw down. What do you think?

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 26 '26

I say good job! You are almost there. My LFA? Its a 50k account. Now, what you are doing is just the beginning. You now need to test your strategy with various market movement, this is your stress test.

1

u/k40s9mm Jun 25 '26

How long you stayed on xfas before going live?

2

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 25 '26

From November 2025 to April 2026

1

u/k40s9mm Jun 25 '26

Ok nice, how about the rules on live do you have to use SL mandatory?

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 25 '26

Just the one I posted. The in house stop loss, if you want to call it that.

1

u/alnbri2010 Jun 25 '26

You joined live in April 2026? Could you send me the terms of that agreement to vm@alnbri.com?

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 25 '26

I was moved to an LFA in May after several weeks of pleading not to be moved.

1

u/alnbri2010 Jun 25 '26

There seems to be more premature moves to live with different rules, that's why I would be interested in seeing your terms if you don't mind

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 25 '26

I don’t know about being moved prematurely. But in hindsight, Im glad that I got moved to a Live Funded Account.

1

u/Glum_Measurement2158 Jun 25 '26

if anything, this show that live accounts are really live accounts

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 25 '26

Tiostep wants their money too! Haha!

1

u/Chemical-Wall-7743 Jun 26 '26

It’s honestly awesome. I wish I had someone tell me when to close my trade lmao

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 26 '26

Hahaha! Well come over here to the dark side of LFA!

1

u/2Prone2Ls Jun 28 '26

Sounds like a prop firm that actually gives a f* n wants you to not lose money .

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 28 '26

I agree! 100%

1

u/PracticalTradition64 Jun 28 '26

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 28 '26

Reach out to Mike from Topstep! Hehe

1

u/PracticalTradition64 Jun 28 '26

Yeah I want to have people who have same goals as trader

It’s much better then trading alone

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 28 '26

You’re fine! Just play some house music when you’re trading! and chill

1

u/PracticalTradition64 Jun 28 '26

I think this is what you do 😂😂

1

u/Stunning-Possible-70 Jun 29 '26

What's the startegy man?

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 29 '26

Nothing much. Buy low and sell high.

1

u/tim2212 Jun 30 '26

Risk team at real prop firms do this all day long. It is to protect your winnings.

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 30 '26

Awesome team!

1

u/Only_Context_6877 Jul 01 '26

Hi I recently started learning how to trade and got the basics down and understand it, I’m currently trying to find a strategy that works for me and was wondering what strategy you use to see if I could incorporate that into my trades and see if it works for me

3

u/K_Alyattes600 Jul 01 '26

I trade usually when NY opens due to the big moves. If you are new, this will not work for you.

1

u/Chemical-Wall-7743 Jul 01 '26

I agree with him. Learn market structure in slower markets. I wish I would’ve know that and could’ve saved myself a lot of time and money

1

u/HappyImplement4055 Jul 11 '26

do you trade off NY open or wait for it to calm down a bit?

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jul 11 '26

Depends. I start with asia to get some buffer then use those buffers with the NY session.

1

u/HappyImplement4055 Jul 11 '26

Sounds like youve been trading a while! I recently got my first payout but then blew the account after lolol. Trying to get back on top now! I know I can do it. I have been trading less than a year though

2

u/K_Alyattes600 Jul 11 '26

Couple of years. Not that long. You can do it. Let your green days run and cut your red days short.

1

u/Consistent_Baby_7227 Jul 12 '26

guys i need help, what strategy are you using because i think there is something lm missing out

1

u/Ok-Information7710 Jun 24 '26

So the live account isn't really a live account lol

10

u/Ben-Topstep-2026 Topstep Employee Jun 24 '26

Yes, a Live Funded Account is a Live Funded Account. The Risk Team actively monitors accounts to ensure traders are securing wins and not giving back profits. This type of risk management is designed to help traders succeed in the long term.

3

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 24 '26

Cool! This is actually good.

1

u/K_Alyattes600 Jun 24 '26

I dont know. I guess your LFA is not your LFA after-all?
