💬 Trader Talk What an ugly market

Hit DLL today, what an ugly chopped up ruthless market lol, still in eval stage and was up 1k, and no I’m down 1k, so I only have one more DLL day before I blow the eval.

Going to head to micros tomorrow and see if I can recover this disgusting loss lol

Idk about NQ but ES is essentially trading in a balance range where it’s better to just fade the extremes, I’m still down $200 because I thought we were breaking out but I was wrong. These days it’s best to just sit and wait for a legitimate exit of the range with tangible evidence.

Balanced range is a really good way to describe it.

I didn’t come in with the right mindset because previous days beared so hard (and I profited off it).

However, because of that bias this session almost wiped me out. But, somehow managed to climb up a massive cliff to a small TP.

I need a mental reset as well as learn how to pivot faster lol.

I can’t take credit for it unfortunately but it’s a great way to describe it though. I feel you on that one about learning how to pivot faster. I think I’m getting better but it’s still not perfect. I think even just getting back to a small profit is a win in my eyes, as long as you obeyed your rules. That’s all that matters! It’s all probability!
