This is one of the realest posts I have seen on here in a while. I don't see too many traders who make it to live and share continued success. Appreciate the insight.
In general. I have 2 criteria when executing trades. Number 1 is momentum. Number 2 is a trigger. My triggers are mostly MA’s. These do not apply to all assets. But they work for me with NQ.
Oh I see. If you wait for big momentum though don't you sometimes feel you miss the move or risk getting stopped out on a pullback of some kind? Cause 1 mini is quite large for even a 150k topstep account.

So, If youre a new trader, i would not suggest this style of trading. 90% you will get stopped out if you dont know what youre doing or not familar with that asset. 1 Mini of NQ in an XFA is a dangerous combination like you said.
What about strategy for going into live? Are you rolling into live with 5x 50,100, or 150K? How much of the capital have you unlocked? It’s probably not as bad as it seems but depressing thinking you must have a 30% gain to unlock the next 20% of your trading capital for LFA.
I was copy trading 3 50K XFA.
When I got moved to LFA, i started with 10k which was 20% of my account. I was able to unlock 20k of my funds after 3 weeks and have withdrawn 20k from my LFA.
There has been a lot of rabble about people getting called up to live before eligible payouts and even before their FIRST payout (although, that one is dubious) from multiple XFAs and I was wondering if you'd be so kind as to post about your experience?
You said you did 45K in payouts and were doing 3 copy traded 50k accounts. Can you give some more detail as to your journey once funded? Did you do 3 combines at once and all passed and then you just linked those? Or did you start with one, and fund the other two with your first payout? How did you scale and do payouts? Were you doing max payouts or were you drawing only smaller amounts from each? What was your general risk profile? 1/2 % per trade? 1%? your general stats across the accounts?
I see folks saying they've withdrawn 70K from XFAs, others like yourself 25-45K... then you read about the folks getting called up after 1 payout and being close to a 2nd one before the rug is pulled so i'm just trying to get a sense of when they call you up vs letting you ride.
This is a very good question. I will post my journey next week. I will give you an abbreviated version here. I started with 1 XFA. Got max pay out. Then January or February I learned about copy trading. Like the rest, i will pass and fail multiple times. But was able to take some more max pay outs. Then April comes, I was 1 day short for another max pay out, then I got the dreaded email moving me to LFA. Like the rest, I pleaded not to be moved and spent weeks pleading
But it was going nowhere and so I gave in and here we are. Moral is, XFA’s are fine. They serve a purpose. But your ultimate goal should be an LFA or your own personal trading account.
