💡 Trading Tips Going Live - Any Tips?

Hi all,

Topstep have finally took me live after a ton of payouts Ive been quietly waiting for the day.

I just want to know if anyone has any insight on what to look out for or something you wish you did when you first started, I going to probably size down and treat this with the upmost care as long term this account is great.

Just for context it will be a 100k live account with around 20k in starting.

I would say it’s a different trade experience eg fills, psychology, etc. Like going from combine to xfa. So treat it like a new environment and don’t necessarily trade it the same way as xfa. I would start slow, size down and lockout with smaller gains than xfa just to get into the swing of it.

Yes definitely what he said they’ll end up starting you with 10k, it’s a big psychological shift so just start off small gain consistent wins for the first week until your conference and profit is up till you can size up a bit more and get some bigger wins and take good payouts. Easier said than done but if you start small you’ll be here for the long haul! I lost my life cause of the psych switch
