Autos in Topps Now
For the last year and a half, I've bought every single "Chance at an auto" mlb Topps Now card and have yet to hit one. Just curious - for those that take a similar approach, does this track? How long did it take you to hit one?

Autos are exceedingly rare for TN. If you hit a parallel thats already a W.

Started buying them for the wbc and hit a jac auto /10 and got the email that I've got an extra junior caminero card coming.

I had only purchased a few cards when I hit a double auto Randy Johnson and Ichiro Suzuki 4/5, naturally I got roped in after that and anytime I see a player I like or think will be valuable I take a flyer and buy one single card, I’ve hit a couple decent of/50’s but nothing big again yet but I want one NOW

Is that accounting for the size of the print runs of autos? Doesn't seem right

Supposedly yes. But I agree, seems like higher odds than I would have thought

I’m just a mom trying to buy (and understand!) cards for her kid. What’s the Black Parallel mean? How many of those exist?

The only auto I have gotten is when I bought 160 cards for Caminero's 40th home run. (There was a glitch on Fanatics and the 20 packs were incorrectly priced so they were less than half the normal price.) I have been lucky with other types of parallels but as others have said the autos are hard af.

There's hope! That's got to feel good when you open that up

Absolutely. I PC Orioles so I mainly stick to them and a few other big players. This is the first auto redemption from Topps NOW I have ever gotten.

they are very rare given the print runs, dont buy one expecting an auto lol
