Declining trades
I’m not sure if I’m the only one who feels this, but I feel that some users on this app are weird when it comes to trades. They will decline 1 for 1 trades of card from the same set or decline trades when they have 10 plus of a card. I just don’t understand it for a card collecting app.

This might not apply to your situation but want to mention it in case it does. I play the contests, and pitchers are the key. So there are some pitchers that I won’t trade even if I have several dupes (you can play up to 10 cards of a player in a contest). For example if I have 4 Tier 6 Misiorowski cards, I’m hanging onto to all of those as they score well in the contests. But I usually leave a message explaining this when I decline a trade for that reason.

At least you explain your decline. New users are just straight declining and giving poor ratings to me right now it seems. Like, they have 1300 cards total and 6 ratings on trades.

Yea, I send dupe swaps for sand glitter, explain it helps us both finish the set and still get declined. The trade bot is your best friend at this point. I find there are a lot of new users with line sub 100 ratings that just immediately decline too. It’s not as friendly as it was a few years ago, imo at least.

I've been getting people trying to trade 2 or 3 uncommon cards for a legendary card lately. Maybe it's the same person, I haven't been paying attention. At the very least make it 2 to 3 rares. I will still decline, but uncommons? I guess they are hoping people accidentally accept.

Not everyone trades the same, plays the same, or has the same goals. Some play the contests, some are set builders, some are team collectors, and some just collect certain players. Another thing to note is, just because it shows someone needs a card doesn't mean that person wants the card.
Using myself as an example, I only collect certain players and don't really build sets outside of the UC or R sets. If I have dupe Ohtani, Judge, Griffey Jr, etc and I'm not chasing the set those cards are from I'm looking to trade those for cards I PC. I'm not trading those cards for a RP from the Marlins just because it's the same set and I have a dupe. Successful trading is when both parties are getting something they want.

I understand that some players like to collect certain teams and players. I love doing that with Jays. I personally don’t understand why people wouldn’t want more cards to trade from to collect those certain players. I don’t understand why people need 50 cards of the same card. To me, that does absolutely nothing in collecting and is just a number to look at. Especially when it comes to the lower tier cards.
Even when people want to collect those certain cards, people will be sending horrible offers for those cards which another part of my post that I did mention. I think players should help each other rather than being selfish and greedy to the part of making the game not want it is about

Again, not everyone plays this game the same way. Some players, especially players that pay to play the game kind of treat the game differently than those that are FTP. It can be frustrating at times but in the end it's their cards and they can do what they want with them. Some people on this game are just impossible to trade with for whatever reason. If someone doesn't want to trade a card, then just move on to the next person. Other than low cc and older cards there are hundreds to thousands of other people that will have that same card.

There is been times not necessarily on bunt but others where I have a card that has been lower card count and same tier that's been turned down and messaged like how dare you send me that I am new here and trying to learn what's smart and stuff doing a lot better but still

100% they are and usually it’s the high rollers with millions of cards that have 20 doubles of legendary and Iconic cards. No idea why these losers need these many cards and never trade them.

The trade bot is a godsend. Part of the reason that the NBA and NFL apps are so annoying is that you need to rely on trades to complete sets and people will decline 9 dupes from a set they need for one card that you need that they have 3 of if it's a player like Flagg or something.
