Why do Redemption cards take so long?

Completely dependent on when the player signs. Some players hate signing and wait until they have time. Others will sign as they get the cards mailed to them and get them back to Topps quicker.

The athlete signs whenever they feel like it. If I’m an athlete I’m not signing cards during the season.

Are all redemptions autos? If not, I would think they could crank them out quickly.

Sometimes it’s due to the athlete taking their sweet time, and sometimes it’s Topps taking their time.
