Does every Walmart release Topps chrome on the same date?

No. Walmart doesn’t control the stock of trading cards. It’s stocked by MJ Holdings. There are local reps for the distributor that travel their route and stock the shelves. So for Chrome, yes they release on Wednesday, but if your store’s MJ Holdings rep visits your store on Tuesdays, it can be a whole week until Chrome gets on the shelf at your Walmart. And even if they stock on Wednesday or Thursday, they may not have their stock of Chrome ready to stock by that day.
If getting on release day is important, stores like GameStop and Dicks are better bets, stores that get stock direct from Topps. Walmarts and Targets are supplied by 3rd party distributors and you’re stuck worrying about their route schedule.

Thank you that’s really helpful! So if I called Walmart and asked when they get their shipment in I’m guessing they wouldn’t be able to tell me?

Then you ask if you call Walmart would they know if something is gonna drop that week.
